What does 3 blinking wrench lights mean?

It is indicating a left motor fault, which is not good news. This is usually from a motor overheating and burning out, usually from overloading the chair or from driving it on unstable terrain like mud, snow, wet grass or sand. If that is the case, there could be more damage to the electronics once you get the motor replaced too. Replacing the motor is a lot of work and very expensive, so you may want to try to find a replacement chair.

A wrench light is on

When you turn the chair on and move the jostick the wrench light will flash you need to count the number of times it flashes to determine whats wrong ie 4 flashes pause 4 flashes pause. If its 4 flashes then you have a motor problem see my tips on flash codes to determine the problem. Whatever the problem is you will have to have the chair fixed by a tech or the provider that sold you your chair Hope this helps

Joystick controller

Looks like the other experts are missing the point. The JS is locked out. I would take a pencil put some alum. Foil over the eraser and tap it in the button hole. Turn on the JS and tap the horn twice within 10 sec. This should reset the lockout. do not leave the pencil in the hole! Installed new batteries Service Indicator Light flashing 5x Manual says problem is with Left Park Brake and says check L P B connections. How?

There is a lever on both sides of the chair they are there to make it easy to push the chair without power. both sides need to be in brake mode in order for the chair to operate. If the levers are locked in brake mode then the motor wiring will need to be checked that it is plugged into the controller. A Tech may need to be contacted to help with this. Most of these chairs have a clutch release lever near the motors. Move it into free-wheeling and it should roll nicely.

Chair is slowing down. Batteries are fully

How old are the batteries? Even fully charged older batteries can be weaker and not give you as much power to keep the speed at what you are used to. Now a dragging bake can cause you to go slower and also drag the batteries down quicker. Try driving the chair and after awhile check each motor to see if they feel overly warm or hot If one or both feel very warm or hot then I would have the brake or brakes checked If they seen ok I would get the batteries replaced

Can't turn on... right to left flashes then beeps and turns off.batterys new.. charged completed ..help!

If your M41 is more than a few years old it has a Lock Out feature. Try holding the ON button down for 3 or 4 seconds when you go to turn it ON. You should see all the lights come on and stay on. When you see all the lights stay on you can stop holding down the ON/OFF button.

No lights on joystick

Here is a parts catalog for the M41. http://www.invacare.com/doc_files/06_108.pdf If it was working fine before you swapped the batteries then you did something to interrupt the current flow. Pages 49/50 show the location of the controller with a picture. Unplug the connections here and make sure they are clean and in good shape. Make sure all other connections are clean and tight. If you have 24V coming off the batteries into the controller, and 24V going out to the joystick from the controller and still nothing is working, then you will probably need to get ahold of an Invacare service tech to replace the joystick. Before he does that he should swap out the old joystick with a new one to see if that is the issue. Invacare parts are pretty pricey...joystick by itself is over $500.00. If the controller is shot, then you can double that cost. Sometimes, both need to be replaced as they can kill each other. If the chair is old or has a lot of hard hours on it, you can usually shop around on Craigs List, etc and find a good newer/near new chair for about the same price as a new joystick replacement.

Hello, The M41 does not have a circuit breaker, even if the owners manual says it does. There are fuses instead. One fuse on each battery. It is a very different looking fuse than one is use to seeing.

How do I turn off the pronto m41 speed limiter

Hello, The Pronto M41 does not have a speed limiter per say. If the chair used to go faster than it does now then you may have some kind of problem with the chair. If the chair has always driven' slow, that is slower than the maximum 3.5 to 4 MPH then a Invacare Remote programmer is needed to program the chair to go it's full speed. Seek a Invacare dealer and ask them if they can check the programming.
