What controller??? For a Dynamic Controller it is an error code 5: left park brake fault. Check the brake connections.

I'm a certified repair guy for Pride.
If the meter in back of the scooter has no movement when you plug in the charger then , your batteries are dead

Can you tell if the lights are flashing a number of times then pausing slightly then flashing the same number again and so on? If not then check to make sure your not in "freewheel". The levers are behind each wheel If you are getting a flash code determine the number of flashes the codes should be in your user manual or goto Pridemobility.com and you can download a owners manual for that chair. Pride chairs can be programed. But u must contact your local dealer you bought it from. Only they can do it or refer you to a ful service Dealer who can.

there is a inline fuseable link located on the posative battery cable it can get loose and still look like there is nothing wrong,that was what was wrong on my chair. I was very lucky to find it(i found it by sheer chance, I was leaning against it and noticed the light goin on and off,Holy light display batman!) just my lucky day I guess.so I say Check ALL FUSES!!!even ones hiden under tape or shrink wrap. the motor will automatically brake the scooter to stopped and keep it locked there until it is running again or put manually in neutral.

From a pure physics standpoint... The energy to climb a hill... be it from the steep side or the gentle sloping side is the same... It is just easier on your heart and joints to take the gentle slope... (assuming you have the time). ERGO: If treating the scooter like a QUEEN is your goal... DEFINITELY GO SLOW. Tat way you will have no idea if it has any weak spots when you need it to go fast (and you will). I'm old... I don't have TIME to waste! Carnac the Magnificent

Sounds to me like the worm drive is slipping , this can happen when the worm drive small bearing is worn,

If you do take it a part , please take great care, the shaft from the motor will have a worm drive, two bearings on the worm drive,

Try to move the shaft within the bearings, I paid £10 for replacement bearings.

Please give me a update.

Candy Apple paint is extremely hard to patch repair. It has a base coat of silver or gold and then multi coats of the candy apple over the top. You can get a paint that is meant to be a touch up for candy apple but you never end up with the same shade of color. Most of the time it will come out dark blood red anywhere that it over laps the old paint. I would contact Pride as they may use a paint that does not require a base coat.
