How to open to repair Woods 24 Hour Digital Outdoor Timer with Photocell Mfr # 13660

1) Copy following link to identify timer, and select replacement if needed.http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#20012) There is no reset button on this type of timer.Nor is there a repair manual for $16 timers.Generally people buy another timer since the timing chips and parts are delicate, easily damaged by power surge, and often quit working before 1 year warranty expires, and usually last a few years before no longer functioning. The photoeye sensor is often a failure point.3) Check outlet for 80% rated voltage.Check timer on different outlet.Use circuit analyzer and test outlet for correct polarity and grounding.Test and replace GFCI outlets as needed.
