Sony SPP-S2730 Cordless Phone - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Saw this once with a bad speaker and another time the reset process shut something off....

The main board in the base is bad, I was never able to pinpoint the bad component after changing a few circuit board parts.

I only saw this problem in the 2730.

The only fix I found while at the Sony Service Center was to replace the board.

Radio Shack sells a remote ringer.... You could hook that to the phone line and it would ring... Not the best fix but it would help... Even another phone in another room...

Sorry.... This problem frustrated me.... Wanted to find the fix... The board is expensive if avaliable....

Unfortunately, you won't be able to get them to play nice together. Your phone is a 2.4GHz phone, which is the same frequency that WiFi runs on. This will be the case with any 2.4GHz phone you use, regardless of brand. Your only real options are to replace the phone with either an older technology 900MHz phone, or a newer technology 5.8GHz phone. Either solution will work.

I just had the same problem and tried several things with no results. Then, I figured I had tried everything else so I just unplugged the battery pack, set the phone down for 25 minutes and then plugged the pack back in. Phone worked again after that.

For the base station set the ringer switch on the base from high to low. To turn it off select off. You can find that switch on the panel where the phone plugs into the wall on the far left. The handset is adjusted the same way on the leftside as you are looking at the phone.

use phone reset feature from settings. it would not delete your personal files but simply reset the phone to factory settings.

My sony ericsson j20i mobile showing "insert sim card or to view the demo of this phone first view demo" at first i thought it was simlock by that network after checking with omnius for SE software it shows the phone is not locked by the network wat does it mean? why its not detectecing pls help me my mail id is [email protected]

instal mobogenie application in ur pc and phone ...

that means ,the games which u have installed are expired ,,u hav to instal new version of that games ,,or else that games must be hacked version games u cann't instal them in your phone
