Not driving nails all the way in

On page 10 of the link containing the manual there is a troubleshooting guide. I suggest starting with adding a small amount of air tool oil. If one tool is working better that the other swap hoses. I have found hose length and damage from kinks inside the hose have created restrictions of the flow limiting the tools. http://ec1.images-amazon.com/media/i3d/01/A/man-migrate/MANUAL000004917.pdf Hope this has helped?

How do i rebuild my bostitch n80 frameing nailer

Bostitch nailers are simple to rebuild. Bostitch company was sold to Dewalt so parts are now easier to obtain from local Dewalt service center. Use Ork11 oring kit and tva6 trigger valve. These parts are also available on ebay. Good luck or your nailing projects.

Fires when air is plug in,driver stays out.

Most likely problem is the firing valve (tva6), easy to replace and not expensive. Good time to remove the head and lube headvalve with white grease. For now be sure to remove the nails after use and install nails after air connected. Good luck

Nailer drives nails too deep

n80 coil nailer is a very powerful nailer used for hard wood. If the driver is setting nails too deep, adjust safety foot to the lowest level. Install safety foot no-mar boot to lift the gun even higher. If still too deep, most likely the lower bumper inside the gun is worn-out or cracked. Easy test. Remove nails and connect air supply. With trigger depressed, push and hold the gun against work (I use an old rubber hose tightly coiled up). This will fire the gun but keep the driver down allowing you to examine the tip of the driver. The driver should extend out past the nose less than quarter inch. If the driver is extending too far, most likely bumper is worn out. If a large quantity of air is leaking out the nose of gun during the test, indication that lower bumper is cracked. Good luck.

I put a new o ring rebuild kit in my Bostitch N80 sb framing nailer. I replaced every o-ring (including the trigger valve assembly

If the new trigger valve leaks air when you connect the air supply, most likely defective valve or air is leaking past outer trigger valve orings due to debris in the slot or new orings were cut when the valve was pushed in. If air leaks when you depress safety to fire gun then most likely problem is in the head valve or safety foot is not pushing the firing pin all the way in. Easy test, remove nails and remove the trigger to expose the firing pin. Connect air and very quickly depress the firing pin all the way in. If the gun fires, adjust the safety foot as needed. If the gun does not fire, remove the head and check headvalve orings for good snug fit against the cylinder within the head. The surface were orings make contact must be very smooth and not too deeply worn. If you notice fine scratches remove with fine sandpaper. Reinstall head using plenty of white grease on all the orings within the head and retest. Good luck

Will bosch nail guns operate with Paslode brand nails?

The F28WW takes 28Deg nails that are collated with wire, so your nails won't work in that gun. The N80SB is also a 28Deg nailer so your 30 Deg nails won't work in that gun either. Sorry about the bad news but it looks like your going to have to spring for new nails

Bostitch roofing gun leaks air out the top of the gun

Leaking from head is usually due to worn or cracked cylinder seal #70155. If the seal seems to be loose, clean inner surface and cylinder and apply thin coat of RTV sealent. Allow to dry for 24 hrs. If you are going to order new seal, check the condition of the upper and lower bumpers and replace as needed. Replace if starting to crack. Good Luck.

I inherited a Bosch T31 bradder and stapler.

BOSTITCH T31-1 stapler & T31-2 STAPLER and NAILER. Both use 18 gauge (very fine gauge wire). Try using 18 gauge Bostitch staples (used in BT model bostitch staplers). Good Luck

I have a n80sb stick nailer that as soon as you

Driver not retracting is caused by piston oring too tight/ loose bent driver, or check seal loose or missing. Remove head and pull cylinder, check seal is band around series of holes on cylinder. Make sure piston moves up/down cylinder snugly and that no pieces are missing from the bumper. While head is removed, pull headvalve and examine metal where orings contact. Remove fine scratches with 400 grit sandpaper untill smooth. Use silicone paste on all parts (sold at lowes in plumbing department used for faucet orings). To test if headvalve is sealing before re-install, push head valve in with thumbs and cover small vent hole with finger, the head valve should be held in with vacuum and will pop out when you release finger on vent hole. If headvalve does not stay in with vacuum, orings are not seating. If metal is too worn where orings contact, use some teflon tape wound on headvalve under orinr, this will make oring fit tighter, just one or two winds will do, too much and you cannot push-in headvale. Good luck
