When I fire my im250 the firing pin often does not retract
Using a wire "toothbrush" size brush, clean the track in front of the gun where the pin slides - where the nail groove is. **** particles from the nails and the plating from the nails sluffs off fouling the path and causes the pin to stick. After several cleanings of my gun, I noticed that this brushing of the track the firing pin follows keeps it operating for several days without the problem recurring!
Paslode 2nd fix firing pin seems to ride over the
Ok the only thing that keeps it from riding over the top of the nail is your quick release on the front of the tool. I bet when you go to latch the front that it is not very tight. you need to replace the whole door. This should take care of you problem. # 900759 front plate assemblyhttp://www.paslode.com/cleaning-procedures.html
Intermittent firing spark comes and
The plug wire just pushes into the black box. Follow the pink wire going to the spark plug. look for any damaged spots. look were the clamp on top of the head make sure it hasn't been pinched. remove from spark plug and add some dilectric grease (auto parts stores have it) reinstall and test. Good luck
The trigger doesn't engaged. New cell, battery charged, fan works, full of nails, nothing jams.
First thing is to check date on the bottom of fuel cell. Make sure fuel cell is before that date. Now when you depress the safety and the fan comes on listen very closly at the top of the tool. If you hear a snap. Problem is solved. The plug wire is shorting to the head and is not getting into the chamber to fire the tool. Some times if you turn the lights out you can see were it is shorting. Many times it is were the wire goes on to the plug. If this is the case a little dilectric grease will take care of the problem.I remove the plug wire (you will need to remove the four cap screws on top) put the grease around the spark plug and reinstall my wire. reassemble and test. Good luck
Passlode im250ii
Not much information to go on. first thing to check is the date on the fuel cell. On the bottom of the fuel cell you will find a use before this date. fuel goes bad. next is tomake sure the battery is fully charged (light on tool should be green when you put battery in). With fastners in tool depress on wood. Now you should hear the fan start. Pull trigger and it should fire. If t doesn't, make sure there is not a jambed nail. Open quick release on front of tool. Remove jambed nail push driver back inside tool with small screw driver. Try to fire tool again, you may have to lift the tool again off the wood and press back down. when doing this you are putting fuel in the chamber and you might have to do it more than once. Hope this helps. please give more information if it des not. Good luck
