McCulloch Mac 120 oiler
I think the problem is the funny rubber-hose-connection of the oil tank to the oil pump. It looks quite flimsy to me... But if you want I can have a look how this screw is adjusted...Bye, also tom
Putting chain on saw
I am assuming your saw has an outboard clutch (most Macs do).
Please see page 16 here:

It is possible to install it backward look colsely at the orientation in the second illustration from the bottom, left column.
New chains stretch Please for your safety watch it and tighten when needed.
Chain Adjustment
- Make sure the chain brake is off (gloves will protest your fingers).
- If necessary, loosen the bar nuts that are clamping the clutch cover in place (or whatever holds the clutch cover and bar on). They do not need these really loose - finger tight will do.
- Ease the tension adjustment until the chain is obviously loose.
- Using one hand, hold the nose of the bar up.
- While holding the nose up, adjust the tensioner so that the center of the chain just touches the underside of the bar, add a touch more.
- Continue holding the nose of the bar up & tighten up the bar nuts / bolts / quick-release system. HTH

The second hand McCulloch 120 chainsaw I purchased
I think the pre-adjust settings are to turn jets in all the way and back out 1.5 turns each. then:
You will find a Low and High adjustment screw. At idle turn the screw in or clockwise until the rps starts to decrease. Then start turning it out till you hit max idle rpms. Turn screw back in a quarter to half turn and it should be idling smoothly. Be careful here and get someone to hold saw if necessary but hold in throttle to full speed and do the same with high adjustment screw. turn it in till rpm starts to drop then back it out until you get to max rpm and it won't go any higher then turn it back in a half a turn.
Sovereign chainsaw
Probably is none. Take off the chain cover and the chain and clean out all the sawdust and chips where the oil comes out to oil the chain and bar. An old toothbrush works well.

Will one of the newer sensors work in place of my 1457 sensor?
It's possible that one of the newer sensors could work in place of your 1457 sensor, but it depends on the specifications of the newer sensors and the compatibility with your base unit. The I MAX1457 sensor, which is a highly integrated analog-sensor signal processor optimized for piezoresistive sensor calibration and compensation. However, I have no information about its compatibility. If you're looking for a replacement sensor, I suggest contacting the manufacturer of your base unit to inquire about compatible sensors. Alternatively, you can check the user manual of your base unit to see if it lists compatible sensors. Garage door opener sensors are not universal. Safety sensors can only communicate with garage door openers from the same brand.
