You have to put the spring back into a circle thing how it was when you would have seen it before, then put your spring in put on the plastic bit with the pull chord in it and bolt it up, it should all work out well if you take time to do it! :)

Your problem could be numerous and none of them good.
1...Broken crankshaft
2...Broken connecting rod
3...Blown Head Gasket
4...Broken or stuck intake or exaust valve, also could have lost the lock pieces to hold them in place.
5. Broken timing chain or gear
6. Hole in head or hole in engine

first, if all connections are good, try replacing the spark plug, if still no good, check if coil gap to rotor is .020". if the is good, you will need to replace the ignition coil.

If it started yesterday you might have fouled the spark plug or check crank case, air intake system, and exaust pipe for dirt dobber nests if both have sat up for some time I had this problem when I bought one of the same 4wheelers what happens is the crank case builds pressure also the exaust builds pressure and will not let the motor run check for ignition spark parts are vary cheap for the pocket minies check ebay i got a exaust pipe for 13 dollers 49cc also check motosports max.com or type Kazuma.com in your search bar

I have the same problem! I need to recoil, place in properly and assmble the crankcase. I'm doing something wrong. I haven't found the problem yet.

It is the carburetor problem just clean it.If you have good hands on you can itself do it,else take it to the mechanic.

i have i 50cc ATV quad and we have done every think to it and it still won't start but the fuel isn't going to the spark plug any one know what to do. ?

Depending on what happened, it may be possible to remove the recoil assembly carefully. Reassemble whatever came apart and rewind the cord. When this happened to me, I had to get a new assembly.
