Had to re-install software. Can't get past the

The default settings are cashier id: 01 and password: admin
If you changed them, you need to used the changed ones.
If you backed up your database before the re-install, then you should not choose to KEEP EXISTING DATABASE, but rather create a new one. This will let you into the software with the default settings. Then you can restore the backup by using the default password: admin. The database should be named 'cresql' unless you have a different name for it.
However, once restored, you will still need the changed password to open and run the software. If you don't have it, it can only be changed by programming a new one into the database directly with other software. Technically difficult. If you need help, [email protected]

Pc america adding another terminal to sever

Hi Judy, You probably have it set to combine lines on invoices. Go to your options screen. Select SETUP, then SETUP SCREEN. Click the INVOICE SETTINGS tab, then uncheck COMBINE LINES, click UPDATE, then EXIT. Now each item should display on its own line. Is anyone having issues with

PCAmerica does usually recommend turning off all firewalls, windows and others. However, they also have a procedure for running the sql server on a static port that will allow the firewall to be turned on using exceptions for this static port. I have never tried this option, but I can send it to you or try and help you.

Hello, How can I get my Pc America to run reports on full size they seem to only show up on screen as receipt paper size. AND they print like that too.

You may be able to enlarge the image size of the report after you paste or import it into Word. Or, open the Properties/Preferences of your printer. Here you can select to print normal size or enlarge the image.

Hi Bryan, It sounds like you are trying to use SALE PRICING under SPECIAL PRICING. Use the TIME BASE PRICING instead. This should retain price from week to week. The server charged the wrong card

if you are asking what you should do to get the correct sale on the correct card and remove the sale from the wrong card. if you have not settled your terminal or batched out, you can simply void the card transaction that is wrong. if it was a debit it would be a refund, if a credit card sale- you can void. if you have the card number for the sale that you should have ran, then simply run that card as a new sale. if you don't have the card, you are pretty much out of luck unless you know the person who holds the card.

Do not have the password

default login password is 'admin'
password to switch or connect to database is 'pcAmer1ca'
note case sensitive and yes that is the number one.

Can you retrieve deleted items

Hi Alice, yes you can if you know the item id. go into inventory and click add new item. choose type needed. put the item id in and any description and save. it should come back and say that number is in use and ask if you want to restore it. say yes. it should be back. if you don't know the item id, it can be restore thru sql commands, but not for a novice. How to refund a tip

I'm assuming you already batched out your cards. You will need the customer's card info or they will need to come back in. Ring up an non-inventory item, preferably in the NONE department. Change the price to the tip amount, then make it negative, then charge to card. This needs to be done as an administrator or someone with negative price change permission. How to change font in TM-T88v?

You can not change the font thru RPE. You would have to consult with the Epson manual. It comes with just 2 fonts, one being smaller than the other. But going away from the default may have undesirable effects on your receipt. [email protected] Feel free to email me with more details if need be.
