JBL ONSTAGE Docking Station for iPod Questions & Answers
My power cord for the docking station is beginning to unravel with wires showing. Can it be replaced or repaired?
First, I know nothing at all about ipods. However, I am a decent electronics guy. Obviously, one end of the power cord plugs into a wall outlet; the other connects to the station. How? Does the cord simply disappear inside the station, or is there some kind of connecting plug? Which end is frayed? If it's at the wall plug end, you could simply cut the wire (unplug it first !!!) above the fray and wire in a new standard wall plug. You can do the same on the station end if the wire runs directly into the unit AND if you can get in there to reconnect the wire. If, on the other hand, the wire is attached to the station via some sort of power plug (like a printer for example), you'd better leave that puppy alone and invest in a new docking station or new power cord. You'd also better stop using the unit unless you can fix it. Bare wires spell tripped breakers and danger of injury.
Volume up button will not
Hello,
fault is from the button of the unit. There is every tendency that the button is not contacting the panel inside the unit, that is why it is not responding.
You need to disassemble the unit to find out.
Get a screw driver that can fit into the unit, unscrew all screws. Use a flat screw drive to pry the unit from the side in order to take the cover/case apart.
Locate the volume part, turn on the unit and press the volume button directly on the panel. If the volume works, it means there was not contact that why the volume didn't work.
But it the volume still doesn't work, then problem is from the control board.
Perform the above task and let me know the out come.
I hope you understand the message I am trying to pass across. And I hope it makes sense to you.
Regards.

Problem with your JBL BoomBox2 speaker (or similiar) ?
Just found this out, after crazy searching & brainstorming.
So if your speaker suddenly goes silent or sound comes and goes, you can check this out:
At least the JBL BoomBox seems to have this integrated in its architecture so there's nothing we can do about it, complain to JBL : )
But to the problem: if the SOURCE of music/sound is too low, then the speaker may go into a "sleep mode" - silent. So ensure always your SOURCE of sound, connected to the speaker, has volume at least 80% to avoid this problem.
Hope this helps & no one needs to ditch and buy a new one ! : )

My JBL e45bt wireless headphones won't turn on. I've tried charging them overnight, but i doesn't help at all. How do I get this fixed?
If your JBL E45BT wireless headphones will not turn on, there could be a problem with the battery or the charging system. Here are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
- Make sure that the headphones are charged. If the battery is completely drained, the headphones will not turn on. Try charging the headphones for at least 2 hours to see if this resolves the issue.
- Check the charging cable and port to make sure they are working properly. Make sure the cable is securely plugged into the headphones and the power source, and that the port is free of debris.
- Try a different charging cable or power source to see if the problem is with the cable or the power source.
- If the problem persists after trying these steps, it is possible that there is a problem with the battery or the charging system. In this case, you may need to have the headphones inspected by a technician to determine the cause of the issue.
If you are not comfortable troubleshooting the problem yourself, it is recommended that you contact JBL customer service for assistance. They may be able to provide further guidance or offer repair options.
