Why does my mower deck belt on john deere 316 keeps breaking
There are a few causes for this and its not just this brand or model. First check that belt is installed correctly, check the part that keeps the belt on the belt rollers the belt should be between the garde and belt wheel, check for shine spots where belt is rubbing, Some times the mower deck is not set even or too low it can put the belt at too much of an angel causing the top of roller to cut it. So check the deck level there are adjustment devices on the mower to adjust, check for shine spots and for correct belt installment, and check roller wheel top for cuts or sharp spots, and check belt tension to see if it is to tight or too lose, also check that rollers spin free and there is not one stuck that could be heating the belt up too much, And last but not least make sure you are using the proper belt that is made for a mower fan belts don't last very long on a mower.
332d john deere skid steer why is it blowing white smoke
i do not know what a skid steer is. If the motor on anything is blowing white smoke there is water getting into the combustion chamber which is bad bad news means head gasket, intake, cracked cylinder those patch jobs in the bottle are exactly what they are patch jobs it will hurt you pocket book a lot but if you want to keep it it is past the point of patching.

How to troubleshoot swing motor problems on a 1963 jd row cropper backhoe?
just like any hydraulic system there is A (IN) and a (OUT) on every cylinder and motor on tractor (even steering) loosten (NOT remove) the hose fitting thats on (A or In) to motor and attempt to move joint/device with controls if a steady drip of fluid is present then your problem is device (cylinder, motor) if no drip then follow hose up to power divider or solinoid or hand valve and attempt same procedure , keep moving up the line till you get a steady drip of fluid and last device in liine is the problem device , repair or replace it
ALLWAYS turn off motor and release pressure from hyd system before you attempt to completly remove any device from system for replacement , and note that booms and arms and heavy stuff will relax(fall) with no pressure in system , prepare for this to happen (blocking, chaining)
