IS THIS GAS TANK MOUNTED ON THE SIDE OF THE MOTOR AND IF SO I MAY HAVE A GAS TANK FOR THIS UNIT

Check to see that bag is attached correctly as it has a kill switch.

Your best bet is eBay or swap meet.

Remove the spark plug and try again. If still stuck, then you may have a seized engine. You can unseize it with the piston facing up and using penatrating oil in the cylinder and putting the plug in finger tight and let it sit for a day or two, then remove the plug and try to pull it, if free, change oil before running, if not free, look in plug hole and check to see that you have even coverage of penatrating oil on the piston, add more if needed. There are a few real good videos on youtube, search freeing a seized engine and look at the ones for small engines.

If you take the Shredder Vacuum to a Sears parts center (call your local Sears or email them for the Sears nearest parts center near you, they are not usually listed in the phone book)) they can ID what model it is or just match the part up, without the model number I can'rt help you directly, since I can only reference a Sears/Craftsman parts book which asks for a model number to look up any type of part.

go to www.searspartsdirect.com. you should be able to find diagrams and part numbers there.

Fuel starvation - 'lean fuel' condition
Basic things to check:
1) spark plug
2) spark arrestor in muffler
3) fuel lines and tank filter
4) turn adjustment needles out (counterclockwise) 1/4 to 1/2 turn
Chain Saws:
5) check impulse tube and intake boot for cracks or leaks
*if all of the above are OK and/or do not improve performance then:
Remove Carburetor
6) replace gaskets/diaphragms
a) use a spray carb cleaner to clean jets, holes, and body of carb
b) fuel pump diaphragm goes against the carb body,
then the gasket towards the outside
c) metering gasket goes against the carb body,

Remove the 5/16" allen cap screw on the end of the shaft. The knife assembly slides onto the crankshaft and is keyed with a woodruff key. Soak the shaft in pentrating oil overnight and try to slide it off or use more persuasive measures like tapping or a slide hammer. You'll see a big nut it's a LH thread so to remove it turn it CCW.
