I have a qca jewel spa the heater only runs when
I would assume this is by design. If water were not flowing through the heater it would constantly cycle and mineral deposit would accumulate on the heating elements much faster and shorten their lifespan.

you either have a bad temperature sensor (check the wires for damage) or a bad circuit board. I would recommend replacing the temp sensor first. If that doesn't work, pull the board and take it and have it tested.
How do you winterize a hot tub? QCA Jewel Model SUV M7
this is taken right from a jewel series QCA hot tub manual.....WinterizingIn very cold weather you may not want to venture outside to use your spa. In this case, you may move it to a heated area, or leave it as is until the weather warms. If you do leave the spa unused for a long period of time in severely cold weather, you should winterize the spa to avoid accidental freezing due to a power or equipment failure.. Follow these easy steps: Turn power to the spa OFF. Drain the spa. Use a wet vac to **** or blow out the air injectors, water jets and water suction fittings. Add 1-3 gallons of RV antifreeze, depending on the size of the spa, to all the air injectors, water jets, suction drains, and filter. Caution: Any lines not receiving adequate antifreeze are subject to freeze damage!
Flashes sn all the time
This code indicates the high limit temperateure sensor has failed or has come lose from the CPU board.
Replace sensor
Note: if either the temperature sensor, or the high temperature sensor have fallen out of the thermowells, you will also get this code. If everything is where it should be, then replace the high limit temperature sensor.
How do i drain a
Most of this manufatcturers spas have a 3/4" drain valve tucked in between the control pak and the pump. If your does not have this, a sump pump connected to a hose is the best , fastest way to drain a spa. My favorite king is "little giant" which is sold at any lowes or home depot if your in america. If not, any local hardware store should stock these. Cost in USA is about $35
I have a Jacuzzi Z110
When dealing with a big manufacturer like Jaccuzzi, it is unwise to swap top side controls. They make theirs proprietary on purpose so that swapping is more difficult (especially jacuzzi).
If you use the wrong one, the buttons on the controls will be misleading (such as temp up button cycling jets, or the ozone button cycling the lights, etc)
I would use manufacturer part.
My hot tub was just refilled yesterday and now
If you are just refilling your spa after having it empty for a time, your shaft seal on the pump motor has dried out and has shrunk making the seal leak. Soon it will drip water into the motor housing and the motor will seize. It is very easy to change a shaft seal. E-mail if you need help

yes although you probably have this fixed by now. Sounds like your sensors are bad, your filter is dirty(so there is not enough water flow) or one or both of your gate valves might be closed. My best guess is the sensor(s) is bad.
Is there anything I should know when filling my
Go to your pool supply place and prostrate yourself to the tech ... tell him or her that you dont know anything about your tub and that you need advice.
Here are things you should consider. Electrical ... your tub should be supplied by a 60 or so amp 220 GFI. No connections closer than 5 feet. Water, get rid of the metal in your water FIRST! Not a biggie in a glass pool but you may want to put i a little calcium to 250 ppm. Get the ALK to 100 and th pH to 7.4 then add the CL. You might want to use bromine ... it is more money and more delicate than CL. Your pool place may say you dont need any of this stuff ... they will try to sell you a product that they claim will set your pool up chemically for 6 months. Buy it ... and then monitor the water keeping an eye on the items I recommended above. If you use liquid chlorine (why would you when you probably have a automatic system that uses small tabs?) and your tub is out side exposed to the sun, consider a little cyanuric acid. Dry CL comes with 'conditioner'.
Good luck with your tub, and thanks for your interest in FixYa.com
