What is the type of charger used for this wheelchair

Most are 24 volt chargers; some are external, as in, carry it with you, and others are internal, where you would plug a 120 volt household current into the charging port.

My invacare pronto m41 is very hard to turn on and off. Do I need to replace the keypad or the joystick?

The back of the keypad has a flexible metallic coating that comes in contact with a non-flexible metallic circuit under it to activate the switch. With thousands of pushes, this metallic coating wears off and must be replaced by replacing the entire keypad. Sometimes, debris can get underneath the keypad which interferes with the contact, and cleaning with alcohol will clear the problem.

Motor whine

You may have bad bearings in the motor. I would suspect the gearbox. Have you had any issues with the gearbox leaking oil. The bearings/bushings on the drive shaft for the wheels are most likely going bad. If this is the case, you will have to replace the whole axle assy.

Will not go. ohm wiring

me tool time you checked or changed about everything but did you check the electric brake. Sounds like the brake is not working or is working intermittentaly. The controller needs to get the right reading from the brake or the scooter will not go and when you release the throttle the brake should engage immediately. I can't give you a well thats the answer but you should at least ohm out the brake. If you can call rascal Company on Monday and ask for tech support they can give you what the reading should be Hope this helps

Scooter will only turn 1 way

Get someone to replace the joy stick. You might be able to get the company to send someone, or a friend might be electrically/mechanically handy. I've found most repairs on my chair can be made by someone competent.

Go to the company website + look for a replacement there. Conversely, go to this website: http://www.electricwheelchairparts.com/batterychargersharness.htm or use a search engine, type in the name of your scooter + pick a place to get it.

Constant beeping when turned

The freewheel lever isn't re-engaged properly. Try moving the lever to "free" then back to "drive" again. The lever moves a small micro-switch.
