Black & Decker MX55 PowerPro Hand Mixer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Need replacement beaters for B&D MX95
First I would search the yellow pages or call my chamber of commerce for a dealer or reputable repair shop. If that doesn't work, try https://www.ereplacementparts.com
How do you place beaters in mixer without them falling out?
I can't find a manual for the MX55 online, Suzanne, but looking at the picture of it I found on Amazon and based on the manuals for other B&D models, it looks like you should have two slightly different beaters: one with a collar and one without and it's very important that each beater go into the correct hole. The one with the collar should go into the left hole (looking at the bottom with the holes at the top) and the one without a collar into the right. The other manuals say "insert each beater and, if necessary, turn it slightly until it locks into place." I hope this helps. Good luck!
I need replacement beaters for an old GE hand mixer.
I bought an old GM mixer no. 30M47 with no beaters yesterday at the Salvation Army store. The beaters I have for a newish (ugly) GE hand held beater fit perfectly. I suggest taking your old beater to a store that sells new GE handheld beaters and seeing if the new beaters fit. If anyone reads this and wants me to look up the number of the new ugly beater for them, please say so before I take it to the Salvation Army.. : )
One of my beaters broke.
For some reason, although you can find this mixer offered for sale, there is no information
available for it on the Black & Decker websites in the USA or Canada.
I did find one mixer on the official Black & Decker parts site, which may be similar, with replacement beaters available as Part No. 177177-00 at $12.95 a set:

Your best option may be to use the Black & Decker Service Center locator to locate your nearest sevice center. This is a part they normally would stock and a quick telephone call should be able to determine availabilty and price.

TURNED ON MIXER, BEATERS WOULD
You can try to replace the batteries again and see where that gets you.
As far as repair if the batteries don't work, I would recommend getting a new one.
Also check to see if it is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty period.
Good Luck
One beater broke. can a
Yes for sure , Black and Decker has the spares but you will need to change them in pairs, that will be better when one is broken off, also you can keep the one as spare.
Replacement beaters
I had an SM100 which did not work when I got it out to make cookies recently. So, I have both bowls available (large and small), beaters, dough hooks, whisks and the use and care book too! I sure will miss that mixer. Contact me at

REPLACEMENT BEATERS FOR CAMFIELD POWER MIX
This is so weird. I have the exact same serial number for my Camfield mixer with the same model (I'm guessing from about 1955-57). I wonder if they just put the same serial number on for products created at the same time. I thought 6404 was really low. Did you ever find replacement beaters? Mine have rusted. This was my mother's mixer and I just have a fond place in my heart for it.
Need beaters for a black and decker SM100 mixer
I searched for replacement beaters for Blacker & Decker SM-100 type 1 (SM100) electric stand mixer for years. I found the Sunbeam Mixmaster Mixer Replacement Beaters for stand mixers, item 4955, at a large Ace hardware store. They were priced over $16.00, so you may consider buying a new stand mixer. The beaters are the correct length, snap in and grip correctly even though the ends are curved like a half ball rather than flat as the originals. The beaters turns well but I haven't tested them with the bowl because I need to find the turn table that I have in storage. The beater set was design ed to replace parts for Sunbeam stand models 2355-1, 2356-1 and 2360-2.
