Push the grey plastic filter back in place. You have to use this to turn the part underneath before it will come out as it screws into the sump.

Possible that the inlet flow of water is low and so there is time taken to fill up . So check the pressure at the inlet. Also if the water level pressure sensor is faulty then the program will be halted as the water level is not indicated.
Please check the sensor.

The water is supplied from the water heater in your house check that.

There is a water inlet valve (lower front service panel) and solenoid located. Check to make sure that there is no blockage, if the main or other tubing entering or exiting this valve is kinked, the machine will display the check water light. There is also a float switch on the inside of the dishmachine, if it is stuck, the light will go off also. Ensure that water is flowing into the machine, and there are no kinks in any of the hoses. If there arent, look into the float. If it is under warranty, do not attempt to do any of this yourself, call for bosch support first.
