I am having the same problem with my super Nintendo console not having the red power light coming on. It could be the ac adapter that is causing your SNES console to not be turning on. You could try a new SNES ac adapter to see if it works or not. If your SNES console still is not coming on with a new ac adapter it maybe be the fact that your console is not working anymore and it would be more cheaper and easier to buy another SNES console than to fix the current one that you have. My N 64 console goes in slow motion as well too. It could be the ac adapter might be causing this problem here so try a new ac adapter to see if it solves the problem or it could be the power outlet as well that is not putting out the proper power to the console or it needs to be cleaned out. Or the video chip went bad and the slow motion is occurring. The jumper pack or the expansion pack could be starting to go bad and needs to be replaced and it is warning you that the jumper or the expansion pack is going bad and will stop working anytime and the game will freeze and then turn all black and then blank out on you and you will go to the screen on the TV after that. Sometimes the expansion and the jumper packs can quit working with no warnings at all to let you know. Or it can say on the TV screen expansion pack or jumper pack is needed. I have tried a new expansion pack for my N 64 console and it is working fine again it could just be that.

usually that means the disk is dirty or scratched try cleaning it if it is not scratched with a damp cloth then let it dry before inserting it again
