From the Wii main menu, use the Wii Remote to select the "Wii" button. Now, select "Wii Settings" to access the "Wii System Settings" menu. Using the arrow on the right side of the screen, scroll to page two and select "Internet." Select "Connection Settings."Select "Connection 1: None" (Don't see "None" in Connection 1? Click the Connection 1 button, then choose "Clear Settings.") Click on "Wireless Connection" and then "Search for an Access Point." Select "OK" and the Wii will display all the wireless networks it finds. Select the wireless network that is yours.Asked to enter a security key? If you are prompted to "Enter the Password or Key," then the wireless network you are trying to connect to has wireless security turned on. You will need to type in your security key or password and select "OK."
  1. Select "OK," "Save Settings," and then "Yes."
    • The Wii console will run a connection test with your wireless network.
  • As long as you see "The connection test was successful," the "Wii Support Code" does not matter and can be ignored.
  • The connection test was successful - Then you're almost done! After your connection test, the Wii console will check if there is a new Wii System Update available. Once you select "Yes" and "I Accept," the Wii will begin to download any available updates.
  • The connection test was not successful - If the test was not successful, you will receive an error code.
    • Error Code 51330: This means the security code you entered into the Wii is not the same one your router is set to. Look in your router's settings and try again.

Wii cursor not appearing on screen

Step 1:

First we should try to identify whether it is the sensor bar, The Wii, or the remote itself. So, let's start off by trying out the sensor bar. I would recommend you putting two (decent) sized LIT candles on both sides of the sensor, or try simply cleaning off the sensor. If the candle trick works, you have a bad sensor and need to buy a new one. If nothing changes and you're still in the same boat, then we'll try to see if it's the remote.

Step 2:

For the remote there's not too many things that can go wrong it, but we'll see if it's the remote. What you wanna do is see if the if the Wii remote has a dirty top to it (black thing on top). This will cause the IR camera to not be able to locate the sensor. If this fixes it then you'll save some money, but if it doesn't we'll try something else. Now, what we got might be a bad IR camera in which you have to buy a new controller (I suggest trying some neighbors remote or a friends to make sure this is the problem). Another thing that might be a problem is any secondary IR light source will cause interruption with the communication from the sensor to the Wii remote, but I highly doubt this is your problem.

Step 3:

Now, if all of these fail it is more than likely something with your Wii console and I would highly recommend you contact Nintendo Customer Service http://www.nintendo.com/corp/contact.jsp for they might have more knowledge than me about that. I hope that this helps you out!

An error has occured. Press the Eject Button, remove the game disc, and turn the power off. Please read the Wii Operations Manual for more information.

It could be a bad copy. Simply, I had a similar issue on the release of COD MW3, the copies were simply bad. So just take it back were you got it, and do a swap for a new one. Check the SN: numbers on the back, make sure you don't get the same copy. Good luck.

You have two options here, place the wii remote in rice for about 1-2 days and hope that it gets all the moisture out, or you can go and get a new controller which I'm sure you've already considered I hope.
