Bosch SHV68 Built-in Dishwasher Questions & Answers
Doesn't finish the programme
Is it getting hot? Is it waiting for rinse aid? is it draining ok? Where is it stopping? What is is doing that works ok? You need to eliminate possibilities.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply and remember, even if you don't vote for me a please and thank you goes a long way
Need to remove decorative door panel
There are two main ways to remove it.
- There should be screws on metal trim the side and or bottom of the dishwasher door. Take those out and it should come right off.
Or
- There are screws on the back of the door screwed in to the front of the door. Remove the screws and it should come off.
Now this is say IF it was installed properly and not clued or screwed on by just anyone.
Good luck. I hope this helps.
Dishwasher not emptying
Hi,
I have a coulpe of question's to start off, how much water is left at the end of the cycle we're talking about and how long does a typical cycle last ? 2-3 hours or 2 hours & less. Has there been any changes recently with plumbing or hot water tank etc ?These are just a couple of factors which will go a long way to finding you a solution.
I look forward to reading your reply.

Bosch SHV68M has a red faucet that appears on
I believe it is an incoming water temperature sensor. Have you recently changed the temperature of your hotwater tank? You may want to contact Bosch regarding this. You may also have a problem with the internal water heater.
My SHV6803UC/15 seems to be cycling properly, but
Hi Phil,
First I would check you drain ... Make sure it is clean, clear and drains fast...if you have a garbage disposal make sure it is also clean...also check that the drain hose is above the bottom of the sink...
hope this helps you...
Our Bosch dishwasher will not turn on. It appears
check the dishwasher electrical box connection. remove kickplate. box is on r/h side. remove cover. you will probably find the wires and marettes burnt. simply repair the wires. this happens from time to time if the connection is not the best. hope that helped
WATER DOESNT DRAIN
I had the same problem. I took out the filter and cleaned it, scooped out as much water as I could and poured some sink unblocker into the bottom of the washer, followed by some hot water. After leaving it a while I took the plastic mesh cover off, and removed and cleaned all the bits I could (will be different on different washers). Then I put it all back together and ran a quick wash, and it worked. I did a couple more washes with it empty in case there was any cleaner still lurking. Result - one unblocked (and sparkly clean!) dishwasher. Hope this helps!
