Bosch Washing Machine Softener Tray not emptying

You need to replace the cold water inlet valve. If the machine is older than one year it may be clogged on the side that moderates the cold water to the bleach and softener compartment. Replacing the valve fixed the problem. During the cycle when the softener dispenser fills it should fill quickly and no or little water should be seen in the soap dispenser area. If a lot of water goes into the soap dispense and little into the softener area the valve is clogged.

Bosch Logixx vented dryer not working correctly

I had the same problem.
I took of the cover on the back and found the heating element had blown. I just replaced it for a fraction of the cost of a new drier, just unscrewed it and conected the two wires easily.

Clothes still wet aftre drying cycle over

It sounds as if the wash cycle isn't terminated by pumping the rinse water out and spinning to rid the clothing of most of the water.
Most dryers sense moisture but I think they all will have a maximum run-time to prevent possible fires if the programmer fails to shut them down at the end of the drying cycle.
I would watch the machine and when it started the drying cycle, I would shut it off and check for surplus water that hadn't been pumped out as it should have been.

Washing machine wont rinse or

I just fixed my machine through this site, it means the drainage hose is blocked.
The small access door at the front has a hose and a small screw cap. I drained the water via the hose then undone the screw cap and found it was blocked by tissue.
Put everything back and now is working.

Washer dryer

Here is the link for a manual for your washer/dryer if you need it; https://portal.bsh-partner.com/portal(bD1kZSZjPTAwOQ==)/PORTALFRAME.HTM sounds like the heating element has failed, or just possibly the thermostat for the hot air. follow this link for a list of spares if you want to try it yourself, or for bosch repair centre details if not. http://www.bshappliancecare.com/Bosch/boschspares.html ask if you want to do it yourself for any guidance you need. Hope this helps :)

WFD 2460 will not start wash cycle after it has filled with water

Isolate power and water supply and gain access to the main drum motor. Check for condition of carbon brushes by removing them and repla
ce if severely worn. Check wiring loom around motor and right back to module controller. The clicking is obviously power being supplied to motor via the loom to the motor. finally check for any dry solder joints or burnt areas on the circuit board controlling the motor.

Bosh Washing Machine F18 fault

I also had this problem - the machine was full of water and it flashed up F18. I had to drain the water out of the machine using the small pipe located next to the drain filter. There was loads of water to drain out. I used my oven roasting tray which was perfect for the job. Then I undid the screwcap filter. There was a lot of really black water that came out, along with about two pounds worth of coins and some hairgrips. Now my machine works perfectly !

probably have something blocking the drainage pump.
  • TURN OFF AND REMOVE PLUG
  • Remove the small circular plate on the front of the washer (turn so the little hole is pointing downwards, then give it a good shove)
  • find the black hose and pull the stopper out: drain the washing water.
  • open the big petrol style cap behind the circular hole.
  • pull the cap out (I had to use pliers to unplug)
  • clear the rubbish you find here (careful could be sharp)
  • put it all back together
  • PRESTO
