Washer sounds like marbles are in it when it spinns

look for an underwire bra wire it will be sticking in the drum
if you cant find it through the drum you may be able to reach whatever is causing the noise through the heater element opening in the tub

Bosch WFMC 3200 Front Load will not pump water out

the pump gears could be stripped or clogged with soap residue including the line from the pump to include the drain hose itself. I took the back of my machine off after cleaning the pump twice to find the reservoir full of a brown soap gunk/sludge. there is also a small rubber tube that runs from this reservoir back into the drum which was plugged shut with the same gunk. this thick soap residue can damage the pump motor or slow the drainage system to get the E 04 warning. I cleaned the gray drain hose out with the garden hose and was amazed at the sludge that game out. When the machine would run on the drain cycle we would also get a sewage smell that I thought was coming form the drain trap but turned out to be caused by the sludge in the pump. After cleaning the system and now using no more that a tablespoon of soap it works great & the cloths are clean.

Wfmc 3200 fixed E04 problem, where does the gasket go?

Take the cap back off. Put some pipe thread sealent on it. Just some basic pipe thread tape should do the job.

Spin cycle has become VERY loud

Sounds more like a main drum bearing failure to me.
Get hold of the drum and see if you can feel any up or down or side to side movement, if you can ,then it is the bearings.
Also if you turn the drum by hand, and it feels rough or is noisy, then again, main bearings.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

I want to drain the pump as per the manual for storage

The best way to drain the pump is to lay the drain hose on the floor, and let the water run out that way, if you tilt the washer back, you will get more water out this way..
This is only suitable if the drain hose comes out of bottom of washer.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Flashing E:04

Further on the solution provided on Oct. 28th.

The circular cover is on the front, below the door on the 3200UC. Use an unfolded large paper clip or in my case a large safety pin and push in where there is a small hole. Rotate the cover slightly and it opens. Once you get that open, there is a valve to unscrew. Be sure to have towels or sponges around as this will drain what ever water is left in the drum. Unscrew the cover only a little until water starts to leak out. Once it's drained, remove the valve cover completely. There is then another white plastic piece that you can gently pry out with a flat head screw driver. Once that's out, you'll be at the main drain. In my case there was an infant sock blocking the drain. I removed that and the machine works like a charm again.

Hope the details help a bit. Thanks for the original solution!

BOSCH WASHING MACHINE RETAINING SPRING FOR FRONT DOOR GASKET

it is very hard to get the ring on front load washers,
it is much easier to remove the top. bottom and the front control panel
then the door and support panel.
now you have access.
some times you have to remove the counter weight in some models before putting on the ring.
if you can do it without removing these items you are very very good.

Bosch wfm3200 rubber gasket

You need to turn the seal back in on iteself at the front, then starting at the 12-o clock position, start feeding the spring round into the recess you will feel at the rear edge of the seal, it is a goove and that is where the spring fits.
As you progrees round with the spring you will find it harder and harder to get it to stay in the groove, this where you could do with some assistance.
You need to have some one hold the spring in place as you progreeively fit the spring.
You may find you will have to have more than attempt.
As a last resort, you can stretch the spring, which will make it easyier to fit., but do not stretch it too much, or it will not stay on.
Plz leave feed back for this solution.

Possible. First run your hand around the inside drum...be careful...sometimes there can be an object stuck in the holes and the extra vibration can set it off. common objects are bra wires and hair clips (sorry ladys its the truth) followed very closely by......(you guessed it ladys) Nails

PLASTIC WINDOW IN BOSCH WASHER

Hello Greyroom, sorry to be of bad news, however if this is the WFMC model washer, the only part for that window is the entire door assy. It isn't available as parts. Since there is a 2 year part warranty on the US product, you may explain your issue to customer support at the 800 number on the machine and they may help with the part.
