My flushmate toilet was stopped up after a bm.Because I could not get to it right away, I let itsit for several days. Tried calling the Flushmate 800 number. They don\'t work on weekends andit was Saturday. What to do? Read the info onthe internet but could not find solution. Howeverfirst I shut off intake water valve required for any serviceperformed. Did that. Got a large plastic spoon.Fashioned a container out of supermarket paperbag cut in half. Used bottom half and inserted itinside double Safeway plastic bags. Scooped outthe toilet paper and feces into bag. Found mostof feces had disintegrated in the toilet coloringwater dark brown. That was a good sign. Lesssolid matter to flush. Tossed bag into garbage.Flushed the toilet and it worked perfectly. Thismethod works for stopped toilet only. If problemis in the sewer line, you need another method.

The only adjustment you can make is to crank your water pressure up...
But that probably will not solve your problem...
The best thing to do is to call the 800 number on the top of the tank and get technical assistance from them directly... they also will send you free parts if you need parts...

They do make a cartridge repair kit for that problem, It comes with instructions and everything make sure its the kit not just the actuator.
