How to remove lid on Kohler k-1833a cistern

Follow the instructions on p.12 of the following pdf:
http://www.geberit.com.au/web/appl/au/wcmsau.nsf/files/usr-pdf-Geberit_Outlet%20Valves.pdf/$file/Geberit_Outlet%20Valves.pdf
Basically, push down the 'full-flush' (big) side of the flush button and look at the side of the remaining (small) side of the button. There is a little slot that allows you to pull the small button out. You can then pull out the big side of the button which exposes a screw that allows you to pull the lid off.
Hope that helps.

Elongated toilet doesn't fit where a round toilet was installed

Hi. There are toilets designed to accept a round seat and there are other toilets designed to accept an elongated seat. The primary difference is that the round seat fits a round bowl and the elongated seat fits an elongated bowl.

I recommend that you return the elongated seat and exchange it for a round toilet seat. good luck

It sounds like you need a 10" or 8" rough-in toilet bowl.

I cant get the new flush valve on my kohler 3386

The foam gasket stays on the inside of the tank, the only part that gets pushed through the hole is the hard plastic threaded part, then you add the rubber washer and the nut from underneath.

My kohler one piece is very slow recovery between

I would take the flexible connector from the toilet and while directing the flow into a bucket open the angle stop, If the flow is normal you may have debris in the fill valve if the flow is wimpy there could be a defective angle stop or flex connector

Need password for a stolen file

Okay. The question is a bit lacking in details. Password for what? Password ON what? Where was the file stolen from? Who stole the file? What is the file content. What is the file extension (the bit after the file name and the period file_name.what)? All questions need to start 'make model (what it is)' first 3 words. And then a clear question. For the 13 people that have tagged this 10 year old question, it is better to post your own question. ..

How do I do a factory reset on a Kohler Hatbox toilet please?

I have never heard of a toilet that needs an electronic reset, but it appears it is as simple as just disconnecting the power for 10 minutes. It does sound though are yours has a failing flush valve. I managed an airport lounge and we had dozens of electronic toilets and we had to keep a box of spares for them and just put new parts in them including complete control boards. We also kept a box of batteries. https://www.google.com/search?q=kohler+hatbox+toilet+factory+reset ..

Kohler Whirlpool jets are weak.

Kohler has good support. You can view the diagrams for that unit with the link I am posting. There are no filters listed in the diagram that might need to be cleaned. There is a chance that the unit has developed a clog from hair etc in the pump impellor. The flange may have come loose and is allowing air in the suction side of the pump too. Kohler has online chat and support numbers you can call too. K-1357-RA ' Devonshire 5-Foot Whirlpool with Apron and Right Drain ' KOHLER
