Kohler Memoirs Stately K-452-3S-CP Two Handle 4" Centerset Lavatory Faucet - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Hot water faucet has seized up.
the cartridge is either broken or seized up due to rust in the line. make sure you turn the water off to the faucet and disconnect the supply tube from the stop (valve). be carefull with the supply tube , you might have to replace it so have one handy. try to clear the tube. then run a little water out of the stop to see if you have water running to the faucet or if it is plugged with rust. then go to the top of the faucet and remove the handle so you can get to the cartridge. use soft jaw pliers to gently pull cartridge out. look at cartridge and see if the are any defects. if so you will have to replace it , take the cartridge to your nearest Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes , or Menards and show them your cartridge and they will get you a new one. if it is a special order faucet call the manufacturer with model number and they will help you. when you reinstall new cartridge make sure you clear out any debris and use valve grease to lube up your new piece. reassemble and turn water back on.
hope this helps
How do I remove the plastic insert to access the cartridge on a Kohler K-171 kitchen faucet?
To remove the plastic insert on your Kohler K-171 kitchen faucet, you can follow these steps:
First, turn off the water supply to the faucet.
Next, remove the handle of the faucet by unscrewing the set screw on the underside of the handle using a hex wrench or an Allen key.
Once the handle is removed, you should see a plastic insert that covers the cartridge. To remove this insert, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry it off.
Once the plastic insert is removed, you should be able to access the cartridge.
If you need more detailed instructions, you can refer to the installation manual for your Kohler K-171 kitchen faucet .

Valve is set to far into the wall...
First, your not going to like the solution. There really is no way to solve this on kohler faucets. Some companies make adapters but as far as I know kohler isn't one of them. Hopefully you can cut a hole in the drywall behind and put it where it should be, if not the marble comes back off.
