Why is the water running out of my water heater slowly?

If you take your pipe off the hot side of the water heater, there is a check valve in the pipe that is stubbed up. They vary in style, usually it is like a marble and it gets stuck. It is easier to replace the stub with a brass nipple and put the dielectric fitting back on it.

How do I get rid of the sulfer smell in my hot water?

As soon as you pull out the anode rod(and not put it back) the walls of the tank will begin to rust. The sacrificial anode is there for a reason. If it's eaten away, replace it. If it's totally gone, the tank has been being attacked for a while and might be due for replacement.

You can but a insulated blanket on it to help with the sweating. Most major hardware stores should have them or be able to order one for the size of water heater you have.

Water heater is not identified and gas valve is not known.
Review options below:

1) Add a comment and describe what gas control valve is on the water heater, and model number from label on side of unit. Include what you have tried so far.

How do you remove a tmp valve out of a propane gas

yes you can get a universal one at any hardware store[about 15$]. shut off cold valve at top of tank and drain tank through drain at bottom of tank.you only need to drain enough to get the water level below the t&p valve. you should use dope and teflon on the new threads of the valve to ensure no leaks. a big cresent wrench or pipe wrench will work to unscrew the valve in a counterclockwise direction

My hot water heater exhaust blower seems to run

Your blower should run from before the heater lights until after it has shut off. Even if you're not using water, it will cool, and the heater will have to light to maintain temperature.

Hello we have Bradford hot

No the top thermostat is the first place I would start to replace. They run about 14.00 more than likely it isn't controling right. Turn power supply to water heater off and replace thermostat.

If you was getting scalding hot and then turning cold without tripping the thermostat it would be the top element working and the bottom one bad.
Bottom element good it will give you luke warm water for a while then gradually turn cold because it's heating the bottom of the tank.

Hope this will help you out.

My hot water tank won't start, i can hear humming

If the blower will not run, then the unit will not fire up due to a safety hazard. If it is a capacitor start motor, then you may have to replace the capacitor, otherwise you will have to install a new blower motor. Hope this helps
