Your Welcome
Get hot water from your Rheem tankless during a code 76 error
This doesn't always work, but on the Rheem tankless Gas/Propane water heater, if you're experiencing a code 76 error; disconnect the remote control unit (either from the water heater or the remote) by lifting the wires for the remote connection. Typically you'll get a C1-C8 error code, followed by a code 76; if you're getting a straight code 76 and nothing else, this procedure probably won't work.
Code 76 is a total power supply failure on the printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, which is the communication/power supply for the remote control unit. But, if you're getting a supplemental code (C1-C8) this procedure will most likely supply you with hot water until the replacement PCB arrives.
I have a combi boiler and a 'popping' hot tap
the lock nut has either come loose under the handel or the 'o' ring and stem have loosened up, might this be a delta faucet? if so replace the cartridge "stem" and the o-ring and spring you will be fine,,
Hot water taps and showers pressure very low cold taps ok
there is a little cap on the hot and cold side above the shut off valves, turn the water off at these valve and take the caps off there are filters in there clean them off and reinstall them that should take care of the problem, you might want to flush the tank while your at it hook a hose to the hot side connector and run it out side or to a sump pump then turn on the cold water and flush it out you can also reverse this procedure by doing it on the cold side
Water Heater will not stay lit.
Sounds like you are getting a downdraft . Or a delayed ignition What type of water heater is it ? One that stores hot water like a 30 Gal natural gas or LPG water heater? Tankless don't use standing pilot. Where is the heater? In a closet or a utility room. Whats the condition of the flue pipe. How many bends how long is the run? In other words Please have a licensed plumber check it out because you are dealing with an appliance that produces a poisonous Gas called CO (Carbon Monoxide) It's colorless, odorless, and it kills. And it don't care who.
Rheem 42VP50FW won't light? Ignitor lights though
The three most common reasons for this happening to you are 1) a defective gas valve, 2) a rusty thermopile, and/or 3) the automatic shut-off not working as it should.
So, the most common reason for many people having this problem stems from having a gas valve that is not working as it should. When your gas control valve is faulty, it will mean that your burner is not going to be igniting as it should-or at all.
Something that worked for me one time was to turn the Temp all the way down then all the way to Max a couple of times..gradually.
Why it worked I don't know. Got a couple more years out of it though. Good luck!
Best to you.

Rheem furnace error code 68 fix?
Hi,
From what I'm seeing this means that there is a bad part within your furnace and it needs to be replaced. It might be the thermostat. You might need to reach out to a local HVAC company to diagnose the issue in person.
Thank you.
