Green light on new Ryobi charger flashing when trying to charge battery it that normal

Yes, the green light flashes until the battery is fully charged on Ryobi chargers. This will change to a solid green light when the battery is fully charged until the charger goes to a power-saving mode. Not all of the Ryobi chargers have a power-saving mode. However, for those that do, the green led will dim over time and then brighten and dim slowly again in this mode. My Ryobi charger, model P113, actually has a key for the LEDs on the unit on the left of the battery port. The manual for this charger is here: https://manuals.ttigroupna.com/system/files/5495/original/P113_192_trilingual.pdf?2011 . Ryobi has many of their manuals on their site. Look up your charger/tool here: https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/support/manuals , Home Depot's web site also has many of these manuals on the product site for the tools that they sell. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

I bought a Ryobi 12V drill w/ lithium charger. Green light on charger never went solid....continues to blink & fade. Does this mean its in the energy saving mode? Is it fully charged?

How long have you left battery on charger? It will take about 3 1/2 hrs to fully charge. t is probably not a good idea to leave the battery in the charger for long periods of time though, so once it is fully charged put it back in the drill. When fully charged the green led will turn solid. This link will have more info on charger and battery. http://powertool.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/ryobi/130155001.html?p=2 C

My 40v Ryobi battery will not charge. The charge shows a flat red light that sometimes blinks. The battery shows as charged. It will not work.

Check the battery with your multimeter. If it reads below 36 volts (or whatever the cutoff point is) it may be damaged. But before you run off and buy a new one, use the multimeter to check the voltage from the charger. Or borrow a good battery and see how your charger behaves. that way, you can identify the cause of the problem

My Ryobi model 40402 blower is dead but battery shows to have charge. It will not start. What could be the problem?

Verify electric contact brushes. They may be worn out on the motor.

Op 400 40 volt ryobi charger output voltage

IT most likely is not 40 volts! It can be 20 or less. Depends on the battery configuration. There can be 2 twenty volt batteries in series and the charger charges them in a split configuration.

We'd like a manuel for our Ryobi HJP003 12 V drill

Ryobi has most of their manuals on their support page, https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/support/manuals . Search for your model and then click on the tool on the next page. The HPJ0030 support page is https://www.ryobitools.com/support/manuals/details/HJP003 . There are two PDF files listed. Click on the one on the left. (The other is a repair parts list.) The direct link to the manual for the HJP003 is currently https://manuals.ttigroupna.com/system/files/7946/original/HJP003_616_trilingual.pdf?2014 . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells
