There's no internal fuse, it is in the plug (UK version anyway). Not sure on US version. If the unit is dead it could be several things. Bag and brush roller not fitted correctly you can check this yourself, motor brushes worn out, broken power cord etc.

The service manuals are not readily available, the user's manual is supplied with the machine on cd. Which are you after?

Put your hand under emptor pot, place your fingers into grip hole and pull to the right when you are behind the kirby.

no only small amount. slides and wedges come loose when m/c hit of walls and furniture. contact your local kirby agent for service or see utube for repairing yourself

take bag system off machine and wash in washing m/c using lots of fabric freshener, ps rember to through out paper bag first !!!

I presume the motor is running, take the front brush roller off and check the fan is still intact. Possibly broken fan.

Cant help you with the CD, but I have found on youtube some excellent support videos regarding the kirby vacuum. GoVacuum has great demo videos too.
