Have a Ryobi rpw 2400 petrol new never used yet, can't start it. If switch on O,nothing happen. If on 'I' pressure build up and block the motor .Any idea for solution?

As it's a new machine, check your operators manual it has a trouble shooting guide. But it sounds like the fuel maybe the problem, do not use old fuel as it deteriorates over time.

Where to install thermal relief valve

It should be the last threaded hole right before the water enters the pump itself, on the low pressure ( inlet) side, most pumps have 2 different size holes 90 degrees from each other, commonly 1/4 and 1/8 in.

5 hp honda on a pressure washer. Bogs down and cuts off under load.

sounds like the pump has an issue check for restrictions in the hose as well as the filters look for any oil leak at the pump itself

Karcher 3600 gx390 backfires

Usually this (back-fire/after-fire) happens because of a dirty carburetor, or bad gas. Gas can go bad with age or it can be bad because of water from condensate. I'm not familiar with this particular engine, but if it more than 1 spark plug, a fouled-out plug can also be the culprit. If you clean your carburetor, I suggest just using a bit of gas to soak it and brush it etc. That carburetor cleaner is rough stuff and it will burn you badly. I don't use it unless I've got a stubborn one. Hope this helps.

Had presure tostart cleaning @ then press.

if the motor is still running fine when this happened it is either a failure in the linkage between the gas motor and the pump. or the pump itself. if it looks like the motor does nothing whatsoever. it may be the link between the two. if the motor does a little bit, then the problem may be with the pump. Try turning off the engine while spraying and see if the pressure drops at all

Cant pull start the pressure washer

Turn water off to the pressure washer, release pressure by applying hand pressure to sprayer. After water pressure is released, turn water back on (should not have motor running without water.) then try to pull start.

Hi lackeyapda:
Fire Air Fuel

Remove the spark plug, plug it back into its wire. Hold it close to the metal frame WITH INSULATED PLIERS. Pull the cord and see if you get a spark. If no it is the coil, plug wire or a safety switch. If yes
put it back together. Take the air filter off. Spray some "easy start" or "carb cleaner " into the carburetor. Try starting. If it starts for a moment then dies, you do need to clean your carb.

Many of the excel units don't come with a pressure relief valve but instead a thermal relief valve, it really depends on the model number of the pressure washer. You should only replace the thermal relief valve if it is leaking.
