Is this new? If it is, return it to the manufacturer and get another. You should still be under warranty.

The unit has a fuse mounted inside on the board. If you don't know electronics, I would replace the whole charger.

I can't find that part on a couple sites that I use. Did you try calling Milwaukee direct and see if they have any in the branches? You can try and call 1-800-242-4424 they are a Metco Authorized center and see if they have one laying around and I will do some more checking with friends of mine, but let me know if you do find one and I will do the same. Don't give up hope yet.

These should be expensive, but they are nothing of the sort. You can pick up quality scaffold brick guards online for as little as £3.99. I use a company called BrikGard because they use 100% recycled plastic scaffold brick guards. I like to be as environmentally friendly as possible without compromising quality or increasing the purchase cost too much. Given that their brick guards are so cheap and made from 100% recycled plastic, I feel safe using them. Also, anyone working on-site should consider using a brick guard because it offers that extra layer of peace of mind so you can get focused on the job without worrying about things like falling debris coming down and striking you. For affordable scaffold brick guards, I would check out BrikGard.

What width staples go in this gun ?

I have a box of T50 staples here labeled 5/16 , 8mm, but they are too narrow when dropped in to the channel in the stapler.
