Check the store where you purchased the screwdriver but you will find its cheaper to buy a new screwdriver with new batteries than to buy just the batteries.

You need a 4.0 - 4.5 DC 100 mA power source with center pin positive polarity.

Just to clarify you have a model number 9076 and I would assume type 1. If so there are screws holding the 2 halves together that would have to be removed the batterys are in the lower section of tool. They are about 8.60. I would recommend going to DeWaltservicenet.com and typing in your model number to look at a product explosion before attempting this repair. Keep in mind that I saw that quite a few of the parts are no longer available so it might be time to retire this one.

moved you out of cars to tools well some have brakes, so hands not cut off, as it spins down. what is the job here. not told what ACT is being attemped or if you lost the manual that covers all this. some blade bolts are LHT , left hand treading so , learn that first if doing blade swaps. buy this used and need to learn how to use it? NO MODEL SAW TOLD at all, nor country told, some are different outside our USA< so not told. is this the blade spin locked up, NOT TOLD add more words or tell what your are attempting/ I guessed blade but gee I do no know what's up here

There are no repair parts available. Hate to tell you but is a dispoable sander.

The bush/bearing behind the trimmer head is probably rusted or worn out and the motor is poling out and creating a short situation. Not much can be done so it may be best to junk it and get a new one.

get the warranty card out of the box or from the back of the user hand book and fill out all the relevant details and post if off to the manufacturer. Or you may be able to down load from the manufacturers web site a pdf form for the registration.

Return battery and price out a whole new drill. Its usually worth it.

Top half you wrap the trimmer line in the direction shown .Bottom half in opposite direction.. Question not very clear ?? Ken
