Will not brew full pot
Base from what you've said I think better for you to return this back since it never work fine , because you pay for it so that should work good...You can try checking first again the user manual for that and do the stpes there if its still didn't work have it replace.
Good luck.......

Cuisinart Codffee Maker
A clean coffee maker is essential to good coffee. Residue of
stale coffee oils will interfere the brewing that caused 2-3 cups only produced.
It is suggest regular cleaning of your coffee maker according to manufacturer
recommendation.
I took everything
out, got a small piece of fine sandpaper, held the plunger in with a pencil,
turned on the grinder and sanded the round top portion of the grind basket
driver. It takes a few times to get a good snug fit that’s still easy to
remove.
The instruction manual that came with the pot will tell you
to use one cup (measuring cup) of "white vinegar" and fill the rest
of the reservoir with regular water. Turn it on and let it perk the mixture
through the system. Then perk a couple of pots of plain water to flush out the
rest of the vinegar.
The books say to do this once a month to keep things clean and the coffee
tasting great.
A professional machine that is plumbed into a water supply
must be thoroughly disassembled, and each part soaked in acid, and manually
cleaned. Unless your water is exceptionally hard (you should have a water
softener inline with the machine in hard water areas) this should only need to be
done every 5 years or so. Heads and screens and filters should be soaked every
day in a cleaning solution available from any professional machine supplier. A
machine that is not plumbed should have a small amount of Puly brand cleaner
added to its tank, and run through several cycles every 3 months. Puly is
available thru machine suppliers, but there are also several other brands that
do the same. Visit your local coffee machine shop for a good cleaner.
Hope this may help;

I just purchased a dgb
I'm not sure why moving it should do anything but I would pull the plug at least overnight and try it again.
It may have the capability to bridge a few seconds of power interruption without losing settings and this bit of memory may have gotten scrambled.
BTW, reviews of your machine indicate that the customer service is very good so a call to Cuisinart might be worthwhile.

I have a cuisinart automatic
On mine the door that holds the ground coffee in place at times doesn't latch properly either and then the it will pop loose. I have to close it fairly hard in order to get it to latch and I test the latch by pushing on the door to see if comes open. When properly latched it will only open via the little button on the side, not by jiggling the door.

Coffee maker won't start and just beeps when plugged in
The door on the top is not closed properly. When you open the top door(cover),you will see a button that is located on the top of the grinder cover. that is a switch that tells the coffee maker that the door is closed and can safely make coffee..please check that all parts are in place and top door(cover) is closed comepletly. good luck.

DGB-600 will not brew
The unit has either wiring connection problem internally or the internal motor is blown, it can only be found once the appliance is opened.

Does not brew a full pot anymore.
I had the exact same problem with my machine making 1 cup at a time.
Here is the solution:
1. make solution of 1 part vinegar & 2 parts water.
2. pour solution into resivoir and set for 2 hours
3. run solution through machine (yes, you will have to stand there and keep pushing the buttons).
4. take same solution (now very hot) and run it through machine 5 or 6 times
5. make fresh solution and continue process

Suddenly coffee tastes TERRIBLE!!!
First try putting a cycle through with no coffee - see if you have any more luck identifying the taste.
If you haven't descaled recently, that could be the cause - scale can hold other materials which can be tasted - run a cycle with 50% white vinegar, then rinse through a couple of times and see what you get - if you need to get rid of any vinegar taste, just run a cycle with a couple of teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda through.
The water could still be to blame - even purified, there are certain things that can change that most purifying methods will not remove, such as higher salt levels during summer months etc.
Make a cup of coffee without the machine at all, and see if you get the same aftertaste. The machine may not be to blame.
Hope this helps, please ask again if you need more info :)

Turning on
I have had this happen too. You need to unplug the unit so that it resets itself. After you re-plug it in you need to set the time. If you just reset it without setting the time it will happen again. This has happened to me a few times. Good luck!

Coffee will no longer grind.
ONE COMMON PROBLEM IN THIS MACHINES, SINCE THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA, THE QUALITY OF THE BEARINGS DETERIORATE IN ABOUT EXACTLY ONE YEAR. AND THE GRINDER NO LONGER WORKS. THE BEARING BUSHING ITS MADE OF BRASS, AND THE LOAD OF THE COFFEE BEANS OVER KILL THE BEARING. ITS A RIP-OFF....

Program light and time flash once per second
Here's the link to the user manual if you need it;
http://www.cuisinart.com/share/man/34_man.pdf
The water filter should be fine - if not it should be obvious to the eye that it is blocked/restricted - hold it up to the light.
Try running through the descaling procedure in the manual if you havent recently - if it doesnt let you run a cycle, try it overnight without running it, and see if it will let you run a vinegar cycle in the morning. Try and pour vinegar into all the parts you can where it would go if a cycle was able to be run.
If that doesn't get it running, check that none of the program/time setting features
are still on - they should turn off after a few seconds, but maybe it is stuck in "time set" mode or similar. If none of the actions in the manual change the setting, try unplugging the unit and leaving it for at least half an hour unplugged, then hold down the power button when you plug it back in - this should reset the machine.
If the reset doesn't work, it sounds like you have a control board fault - best solution is to contact cuisinart;

Hope this helps :)

Dgb-900bc cleaned out completely still doesn't brew
You cleaned the chamber, but does it actually still turn? if the motor is broken of the grinder, it cant give you any coffee. If the unit is still spinning, set the grinding size to maximum. This will most likely let beans pass through easier. If both work, please show a picture of where the beans get caught.
Teflon coating repair
no
with Teflon coatings there should be a warranty period so ask for a refund or replacement
IN consumer law there are words --of a reasonable expectation of service and most have 10 years or life time guarantees so just over 1 year is not an expected service life
