DCC-1200 leaks coffee onto carafe and warmer plate
My coffee pot was leaking over the carafe and onto the warmer. I found that this issue was caused by the carafe lid. The lid was not allowing coffee to flow into the pot fast enough. I removed the inner mechanism from the carafe lid (it pops off really easily) and just sit the lid on top of the pot while brewing, and no more leaks! After brewing, I put the mechanism back onto the lid and twist lid onto the pot.

My Cuisinart series 1200 just stopped working and the on light will not turn on
That specific Coffee maker has had a few problems most of the time the it happens to be a burnt out motor, or a clogged line, if you purchased at a Bed Bath and Beyond you can take the coffee maker back even if you have had it for more then the warranty and tell them it stopped working and they will replace it you don't have to have a reciept or even a box. jsut take it in and tell them it stopped breewing and they fix ya up.

I have a Cuisinart Grind
These are notorious for this problem. It is cause by the coffee grinder portion wearing out and sticking. After a while the grinder will fuse to the basket. It is cause by the spinning of the grinder and wear to the grinder shaft or coffee grounds getting into the shaft and causing wear. Either wan the only fix is a new basket.Send Cuisinart an email to complain and they may give you a new one free. I went through 3 before I gave up on the grind and brew model.

We've had a Cuisinart DCC-2000 coffee maker for less than a year: 1) it stops brewing about halfway through the brewing cycle (with plenty of water still in the reservoir, and 2) the "Clean" light
This problem is caused by a clogged water filter in the unit.Unplug the coffee maker. Open the top panel where you normally pour in the water and set the coffee filter.Gently pull up on the tap that sticks up in the back left corner of the open top. This will free a long plastic part that has a compartment at the bottom that contains a filter filled with charcoal.Unsnap the small compartment that holds the filter and clean it gently under running water with light brushing. If there is a lot of coffee build-up, the water chamber where you normally pour in fresh water needs to be cleaned out. Pour in a cup of water and invert the unit over a large sink pouring out the water through the opening you normally use to fill the unit.Repeat this until you remove the coffee grounds.Let the unit dry fully before plugging in to run again.

Red light comes on but coffee doesn't brew
If there is a thin water line in your coffee maker, then it can get clogged or could have mineral build up. Keurig coffee maker, you are going to want to descale it every 6 months. Calcium can build up.You need to run a large cup of white vinegar through coffee maker lines. When you run vinegar through there, the coffee will taste nasty, so I would run water in there several times, after the vinegar finishes. Run through until does not taste nasty anymore. Yeah, I do this with my coffee pot 3 times a year. You judge how often you should.Good luck.
