When using the lawn mower the spark plug falls off and the engine fails

Does the plug itself falls off the engine or is it the wire that attaches to the plug? If it is the wire, check the rubber cap to make sure there is nothing jammed in there to keep it from seating on the end of the spark plug. The cap should snap into place when you press it onto the plug. If it does not snap on you will need to determine why. Inside the rubber cap there is a metal piece that fits over the end of the plug. If it is too big close it, some with a pair of pliers, if it is too small open it some with a screwdriver.

My daughter added oil then

With the engine cold, check the oil level. Oil level is quite important especially in a smaller engine. Try to clean all excess oil off engine and body. Then, if you can get it running....check for any leaks. If it is still smoking, it has other issues besides being too full of oil. The oil breather will be full of oil. The oil filter may be saturated with oil. Check those 2 things especially as they allow motor oil to be drawn into the carburetor and cause excessive smoking. Pull out and clean the spark plug. Post back if needed.
