RTO Lawn Boy 6.75hp Mower Questions & Answers
Just bought a 10 year old lawn boy 2 cyl mower fro...
Sounds like you will need to clean your carburetor.
Sometimes you can get by with priming it a few times, and letting it
run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets,
but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
If the mower is over a couple years old, then I also recommend that you
buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will
get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, count the
number of turns it takes to seat the jets from their original position.
That way when you go to put the jets back in, you know how many turns
they were in/out.
Please do not forget to rate me, Thanks
Good Luck, I hope this helps
Troy bilt mower 6.75 hp smoking too much oil...
Check oil level, it could be just excess oil. Also check air filter, it may need cleaning/replacing. Depending on how old the nower is, it could be broken rings in the engine, in that case... time for a new mower.
hope this helps!

Craftsman lawnmower model 917.377070 fuel free flowing
Hey Belfest,
I'd check the fuel line or the bowl. I know it's pain to get down in there.
Remove any of the upper engine cowling that will obstruct your view.
Pour just a little fuel in at a time and look for the leak.
Since its been sitting for that long, I'm betting on a rotten fuel line
Best regards,
Mike
Mower won't start with key
you have one of three things going on, either your battery is is low, in which caes you shouls have it tested to ensure there is not a dead cell. or you have a bad ground, remove the starter and clean all mating surfaces with a wire brush then reinstall if this doesnt help ensure that your battery is completly charged then try using a jumper wire from the battery to the starter if the starter does engage at this point then the solenoid is bad and needs to be replaced.
Stops running after warms up
It's eithe your coil ha heat soak and needs replacing or your fuel circuit isn't venting properly and is creating a negative pressure
