Landice Pro Sport Trainer Treadmill Questions & Answers
I am moving. Is there a recommended way to
You will need a phillips screwdriver, 7/16" and 1/2" socket wrench with an extension.
1 - Remove the motor hood cover. (1 or 2 screws on each side)
2 - There is a cable coming out from the user right post. Follow that cable to the electronic board nearby the treadmill motor and unplug it at the board.
3 - On both sides at the top of the console, there are 2 caps held with 1 single screw each. (on the top side of the post) remove those screws and caps.
4 - the external sides of the posts can be "snapped" off. This will reveal the 4 lower screws on each sides of the posts holding the console. Loosen those screws and slide the whole console off the base of the treadmill.
5 - In addition, you can remove the arms as the access to those bolts is also there. (depending on moving space, especially narrow stairs).
Hope this helps! Let me know if unclear.
Motor has stopped - probably due to buildup of pet
1 step
clean motor area

there is no reset button
if console reads SP5 it is speed sensor -brush or motor controller check one by one

Error reads no motor voltage
The motor is most likely in need of replacement. But you can verify this by running these tests.
Test for a motor control failure. Typically if you have a failure, the treadmill will continue to turn on and operate normally until you try to input speed. If the treadmill operates on what we call a closed-loop system, it will give you some type of error message. If it operates on an open-loop system, the computer will run normally but the motor will not turn.
If you have a multimeter, you can test to make sure you have DC output from the controller spades. First make sure you have 120 VAC going in to the controller.T
The DC output spades should output DC voltage if the control is good.
The motor can be tested by using a simple DC cordless drill or lantern battery. MAKE SURE TO USE A DC POWER SOURCE…DO NOT USE AN AC POWER SOURCE OR YOU CAN RUIN THE MOTOR. We use an outside DC power supply in our shop or field. See our test topic on motor testing for info on how to test a DC motor.
What steps are required to replace broken deck
Depending if this is a L7 You must first go to the end of unit using 9/16" socket counterclockwise pull the bolts off now when doing this couter the rotation that is took for the bolts to come off write it down so when you are ready adjust tension you have a reference . Then proceed to remove the end plates (Phillips screws). Then where the foot plate is slide the plastic cover off and you will see screws holding the foot plate remove them and the plate will come off. Go back to the end and remove rear roller , now you will see first the felt washer these used to dampen noise when you are walking or running. Now you will be able to lift and slide out the broken deck and you will see the deck load washer and impact absorbers To replace them you can use an adjustable end wrench go under each absorber loosen lock nut. Also on the safe side I would inspect the running belt to see if the deck damaged it. Reverse disassembly procedure and start unit increase speed around 3.0 mph and adj belt tension 1/4" turn ( clock wise) at a time until belt is not slipping and to center belt.
My Treadmill stopped working while
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. While the line is on go to breaker box see what size breaker you
are running, increase to a twenty amp. If a fridge or freezer is on same line,
find a new outlet on another line.
Although your 20 amp circuit should be able to handle the two loads - if the
fridge compressor should happen to cycle at the same time you’re cranking away
at the treadmill...the two motors combined in-rush currents together may be
close to overload.
Generally (and in compliance with Code article
210.52)...the refrigerator should already have its own dedicated circuit. But -
in older homes... (Wired back before the 2 small appliance circuits plus fridge
circuit in kitchen requirements codes were in place) you often will find other
receptacles on the same circuit as the fridge. So having a dedicated circuit
for the fridge isn't because it's a big power draw...only because it's an
essential item....and a circuit you want to maintain power to avoid spoilage.
The Treadmill should have its own dedicated 20 amp circuit...as recommended in
the specs for the unit. That's not to say you'll burn the house down if you
continue to operate the circuit as it....just that you are pushing it to the
max IF both motors happen to peak at the same time.
Please do
accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further
assistance.
Thanks

Screen is not working so
Hi,
There might be many reasons. Are you sure that the power is entering the Treadmill?
Might be a cable is not fine, Make sure there should not be any cut or burnt wire.Second might be upper control board went bad. In this case, you need to call professional on site or check that and if faulty replace it.
Let me know, if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
Slippage between the drive roller and sheave.
your belt adjuters are behind and hidden in the toe kick
open that up you will see a nut on both sides on the belt
make sure you tighten both the exact same or your belt will slide off to the "lower" side
Treadmill belt off center
I found two bolts at the rear of the treadmill that extended toward the tension bar. I felt they were the only way to adjust it. I had been too nervous to try and move them, but that is what did the trick. Thanks
My Landice L7 treadmill for home use races to speed when I turn it on. I cannot control the speed, it just increases automatically to top speed.
There could be a few different things causing your Landice L7 treadmill to race to top speed when turned on. Here are some potential causes and solutions:
- Motor Control Board: The motor control board may be malfunctioning and sending the treadmill into top speed automatically. If this is the case, you will need to replace the motor control board.
- Console Board: The console board may be sending incorrect signals to the motor control board, causing the treadmill to race to top speed. If this is the case, you will need to replace the console board.
- Speed Sensor: The speed sensor may be malfunctioning and sending incorrect signals to the motor control board. If this is the case, you will need to replace the speed sensor.
- Calibration: The treadmill may be out of calibration, causing it to race to top speed. To recalibrate the treadmill, consult your owner's manual for instructions.
It's recommended to consult with a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the issue to avoid causing further damage or injury.
