Proform XP Weight Loss 620 Treadmill - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Most of the time its caused from not lubricating between the treadmill belt and deck. This causes friction and the surfaces wear putting greater stress on the electronics. The treadmill is shutting down to protect the electronics. If the machine is over 7 years old then you need to replace the walking belt. Most proform treadmills are not meant to be run on, especially by anyone over 220lbs. Forget what the manual says, they are a terrible company.

If the walking belt slips when walked on, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 in. (5 to 7 cm) off the walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.

Have you considered moving the doorway first? Or you could go with what all these other people are suggesting: turn up the speed and then ride it like a tank through the wall. If you have drywall you might slide right through. Please record the whole thing for the rest of us. place a regular 9 volt battery to the motor wires with the unit unplugged from wall and see if it moves. if not it's the motor, if so it's the lower board. we can help with that @ www.nashsfitness.com

Hi, Try to tension the Walking belt. If the walking belt is not in tension then the belt will stop when you step on it. Watch the video to find how to tension the walking belt. Every treadmill follows the same procedure.

Hi Pstefanski..Afraid there is no easy fix to this problem..I had the same also..I called Sears and for the cost of replacing the keyboard, it would be cheaper to buy a new treadmill..keyboard was close to $300 ..depend how old it is to tellu the truth..AL

Dear Sir:1) Test the c.breaker inside and reset.2) Test the fuse inside and replace use de DVOM for continuity3)Tight any connectors wires very well.4) See inside if there are some wires loose and tight.5) Adjust the reed switch, clean and tight the connector very well.see the diagram attached.See my personal TIPS for HELPsincerely. Some consoles require batteries. Check to see if this is the problem. If the console does not use batteries, move on to Step 2.

Remove the key from the console.

Unplug the power cord.

Remove the screws from the console hood and remove the hood.

Turn the pulley until the reed switch and magnet are aligned with a 1/8-inch gap between reed switch and pulley.

Replace the hood.

• 7

Plug in the power cord.

• 8

Reinsert the key into the console.

Run the treadmill to check for a correct speed reading. This may take a few minutes.

1) You must try to check if some wire from speaker are loose, corroded, or making bad contact.2) See carefully if some wire from the cone of the speaker is bad solder.3) Of course you must open the cover for to get insider to the speaker.4) Connect other devices for to test the speaker again, in order to avoid any bad devices before connected.5) Finally if happen the same thing , you will have amplifier faulty.
