Electrolux EW1200i Front Load Washer / Dryer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have an Electrolux Aqualux
6 years old - probably the wash tub bearings gone. Does the wash tub lift up and down from the front? sure sign bearings have gone. Would you drive a car at 70mph if the wheels were loose and floppy?
Not really a viable repair due to cost, and throwing good money after bad sort of situation, especially if your machine has a sealed wash tub which doesn't come apart.(welded Tub).
Cost of parts in this case would equal cost of new machine. Also, suspension, motor and heater will all be worn too. That's about the life span of machines these days I'm afraid!

My electrolux ewf 1030 get
E44 - It means "Door closure
sensing circuit faulty".
Replace the circuit board and restart the diagnostic cycle to check further alarm condition.
When the washing programme is started by pressing the START/PAUSE button, the bi-metal PTC (contacts 3-5 on door interlock device, no.3 on electrical diagram) is powered by the triac (DOOR TY) on the PCB: after 2 - 4 seconds, this closes the switch (5-4) which powers the electrical components of the appliance (only if the door is closed). The door interlock prevents aperture of the door while the appliance is in operation.
Microprocessor recognize closure position by sensing circuit connected to J2-1 on electronic board.
At the end of the washing programme, the PCB disconnects the interlock from the power supply, but the door remains locked for 1 to 2 minutes (PTC cooling time).

WHAT DOES E61 ELECTROLUX DRYER
Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for allowing me to assist you!
If you are receiving an error code E61 on your Electrolux dryer, it usually means that your dryer is experiencing an issue with the heater relay. A qualified technician would pinpoint the problem by checking the wiring for both open and short circuit across heater relay(s). If the wiring isn't the issue, he/she would need to determine whether the problem rest with the main control board. It really could be a hit or miss calculation in parts so I would personally reach out to an experienced tech that will be able to identify the precise reason. Best regards!

MACHINE FLASHING DDO CODE
Hi Friend, this is Z. Thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Generally, error code DDO means that the dispenser drawer on your unit may be open. If so, close the drawer and the error code should resolve itself.
If you've double-checked the drawer and it is closed, remove the drawer and examine the magnet. If the magnet is missing or defective, the magnet probably needs replacing.
If the magnet is fine and in place, an experienced technician may need to examine the reed switch or main control board.
Since there are cost differences in parts and accessories, it is always a good idea to have a service tech properly diagnose your appliance.

Why Electrolux front load making knocking sounds during spin cycle. Model ewf1087
Good Morning Friend,
I understand your Electrolux washer, model# EWF1087, is making knocking sounds during the spin cycle. In researching your model number, I show that your appliance was manufactured in Australia. If this were manufactured in the U.S., I would suggest making sure that the load was balanced. Balance your wash load and if you are still having trouble, I suggest contacting the manufacturer in Australia. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

Electrolux Error Code E=19
Good Afternoon Friend,
I understand that you are receiving an E=19 error code on your Electrolux washer, model# EW1200i. I have researched your appliance and noticed that it was manufactured in the UK. What is suggested for the North American appliances is to reset them, by either unplugging them or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. You can try this. If this does not work, I suggest contacting the manufacturer for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

Washer will not start any cycle
Hello Matt, I am happy to assist you!
Generally, error code E21 means that the water in your wash machine is not pumping out fast enough. First, check the drain hose for any restrictions or kinks. If you have check the hose and it appears to be clear and free, then potentially the underlying issue may be the main control board or pump. Generally it is a good idea to have a professional take a look at it to get to the root cause. Cost of parts and technical expertise entailed in these types of replacements can be a bit tricky.

Too much vibration in spin cycle machine is level
Good
Morning Chris, thank you for your inquiry! Here are a few troubleshooting tips
that may help you get to the root cause.
·
First, be sure that the washer leveling legs are evenly installed.
·
Verify that the unit is sitting solidly on the floor.
·
The load made be out of balance. Make sure the washer is loaded
properly for the setting chosen.
· Confirm all shipping material was removed during the installation process.
If the
washer continues to vibrate, I would suggest consulting a professional to
accurately diagnose and repair the appliance.

Aqualux 1200i
did you happen to solve the problem? I am having the same exact issue
with mine...washes fine, but won't do the spin cycle. it spins counter
clockwise really slow at first, presumably to balance the clothes, and
then starts to spin up clockwise (to do the spin cycle) but then
whinnies and then stops....!

Electrolux washing machine EWF 1087 will not spin
Hello - If you are having problems with either not draining or spinning, with your front load washing machine, then you need to realize that they can be interrelated. Mostly in that if your washer is not draining the water it will not spin at all or at least not properly. There also can be others problems that will stop or slow down the spin, but the water not draining is the most common one.So, if you are stuck with a washer that is full of dirty stinky water then here are some things to start checking. First get that shop vac out or a bunch of rags and a bucket. The water needs to go. The shop vac will pull the water out the drain hose. Just remove it from the standpipe and place the nozzle in the hose and pull the water through the pump and into the shop vac. Of course if you cannot pull the water out this way, you already know that the pump is blocked or clogged, then just vac out all the water you can from the inside of the washer. If all else fails, remove the front cover and take off the hose going from the tub to the pump. Yeah, water will go all over, but that is what the rags and bucket are for. When the water is gone, you can then pull all the stuff out of the hose and pump that are causing the problems. Most of these pumps are very easy to take apart and clean out. This will make sure that there isn't anything inside the pump that can stop it. They are not very strong motors and something like a toothpick may stop it.Now, where this get tricky is that there are sensors that check the water level and adjust the spin. If your water is not draining, your washer will not spin either. For many washing machine problems that are drain and spin related, this simple cleaning will solve your problem. But there are other possibilities. The lid switch is the old problem that keeps raising its ugly head on all washers. Bottom line here is that if the washer thinks that the door is open, the things don't work right. Check out the door switch to make sure it is operating properly.Make sure the new front load washers are on a good solid level surface. If the machine can move around then the sensors will often sense the movement and not allow the machine to reach full spin speed. Some manufactured bases may not be stable enough to give correct readings to the machine. If your washer is moving around, then fix that problem. The timer can also be a problem. Many will wear out and then get to a point in the cycle, then not advance any further. Also the computer controlled sequencers can also get glitches and may need to be reset. You can check out the timer by manually advancing it, and the computer reset procedure will be in your manual that you received with your washing machine.By going through this check list you can check out the problems that most handy persons can handle in the home. To make sure you have the best chance at a trouble free washing machine, make sure that you do not leave anything et into your washer that will cause it harm or plug it up.
