Electrolux EW1000i Front Load Washer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

8 November, Today I picked this model off the footpath, yet to set it up I hope it works LeonZ -Reservoir, Vic.

try checking the carbon brushes.

disconnect from electricity. take back panel off.you will see heater at bottom of tub held in by 1 10mm nut.disconnect wires to it. loosen this nut and pull heater out - you may have to help it with a screwdriver. you can then see into the gap between tub and drum and fish for the bra wire.
tell her not to wear bras with wires!!

I have touchscreen! Doesnt work. Any suggestions? Hate having to get up middle of night to turn off this )%(/₪/#&/₪(" beep!

First of all check filters in hoses & water valves, if ok then water inlet valve may be burnt out. Unplug power cord, remove top panel panel, check where 2 wires go to each water valve & check that area on valves for burning. If burnt or smells of burning, replace valve. IN SOME INSTANCES A COMPONENT BURN OUT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO CONTROL BOARD.

E90 is family error code visible to the customers. It is necessary to read the error in the service mode so please proceed with the following procedure for rapid reading of alarm codes: Press and hold down START/PAUSE and the option button nearest to the START/PAUSE button for at least two seconds! After that the display will show one of the following errors that are more precise: E91, E92 - Communication incongruence between main board and display board (versions not compatible). Posible causes: wirings, main board or control/disply board. E93 - Incorrect configuration of appliance. Posible causes: Incorrect configuration data; electronic board faulty. E94 - Incorrect configuration of washing cycle. Posible causes: Incorrect configuration data; electronic board faulty. E95 - Communication error between microprocessor and EEPROM. Posible causes: Electronic board faulty. E97 - Incongruence between programme selector and cycle configuration. Posible causes: Faulty electronic board (Wrong configuration data). Considering that this is a complicated fault, my advice is to contact an authorized service center.They have special equipment such as an interface that allows them to upgrade software in your appliance. Program the machine for white wash and turn down temperature and duration manually, and tune up the sentrifuge program to maximum RPM. It helps to use a machine with large drum and minimum 1600 RPM. Large diameter of the drum is more efficient than a small diameter drum at the same RPM.

In case of error in the mains, or like what happend today at my house, the power lines went partially down, providing too low voltage, EH0 or EH1 will occour. If you also notice that the lightning indoor is somewhat dimmed during this error, the voltage is too low.

I understand that you have removed your soap dispenser on your Electrolux washer and are having a challenge getting it back into place. It should go back into place once lined up. E4 is the pump is blocked {not running} pehaps a hair pin or clothing wires get stuck fully drain it and take the filter out and clean it these error codes are similar to candy youll get an idea from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzhlvB2LjXg

same goes for my model. Power points are fine, fuse ok, but won't turn on.

It sounds to me like the spring is unhooked from it, but i could be wrong. Check it anyhow.

Is there a reset button on it or try to unplug it and then plug it back in. I would love to hear a reply back to see if it helped.

I understand you are looking for a reset button on your Electrolux washer. The best way to reset your appliance would be to disconnect power from it for ten minutes, you can do that by unplugging the appliance or flipping the household circuit breaker. I hope that information is helpful. -Matt

check the filter at bottom of machine is not full of crap and if its clear check the sump hose under the machine sometimes socks get into it

It is probably leaking from a loose or worn hose.
