Remote won't work
Many car alarms use an algorithm to "roll" the code. The code is different each time you press the remote. The brain knows which code should be next, if they don't line up, it won't work. Try pressing the arm/lock button about 10 times to re sync the units. If that doesn't work then it is possible that the fuse(s) for the alarm have blown.

May depend how it was programmed. My Python 476P was setup with Lock and Unlock pressed to get it to remote start. Then, get in the vehicle, put the key in the "on" position and press lock / unlock to get it to end the remote start cycle. Then Drive off ...
I got a second remote, followed some directions via YouTube to program. Key in the on position, then hit the valet button once, then press and hold. One chirp, hit lock on remote. Let go of valet button . Press, then press and hold, two chirps. Hit unlock. Continue for 3 (aux) and 4 (panic). End result was Lock would also unlock. Unlock did nothing. And Aux started the remote start sequence.
Having bought a vehicle used, then no manual made this a bit difficult. I will continue to test alternate programming to try to match the original remote so accidentally firing up the rig doesn't happen. My suspicion is I have to maybe do Lock, Aux, Lock/Unlock, panic instead. Good luck.

You can either go to directed.com or if you still have the old broken transmitter you can input the FCC Id from the remote to remotesunlimited.com and they sell replacements with program instructions as well.

- Customer was concerned about some lights on his alarm. I told him that they were suppose to be there and there is no issue with them. I went through the procedures with the FOB on how to disarm his alarm should go off. I basically went through how to use his FOB.

I lost my key with
The python alarm has a manual alarm disable. Upon entering the vehicle, turn ignition on, press and release valet switch. You should hear two chirps confirming that the alarm is disabled. Start the vehicle.
