My guess is the remote start is defective.

unlocking driver door only silences a factory alarm. put the python in valet mode until you can get another remote. key on hold valet button for 5 secs and led should glow all the time.

Go under the dash and find the connection points and where it has cut into OEM wiring, Every installed does it differently

is the message bank full? did you try a hard reboot?

there is a vibration detector on this unit... you need to adjust the dial clockwise to make it more sensitive to vibration... but someone merely touching the car will most likely not set it off... also the placement of the sensor is crucial in detecting minor bumps to the car... best place is directly on the steering column or on a weight bearing panel/rod... hi it is a auto lock feature built into car alarms some alarms you can disable it others you cant because its a default setting cheers
