unlocking driver door only silences a factory alarm. put the python in valet mode until you can get another remote. key on hold valet button for 5 secs and led should glow all the time.
Have you tried contacting the support people at Python? They would be the first place I'd start. Shoot them an email via [email protected]. or give them a call: 800-561-1110.
if its lit solid that usually means a problem with the system... so the alarm portion is most likely not active... or it might simply be in valet mode... without knowing the model of your car that's the best I can offer... did you remove the wiring yet? best I can suggest without knowing year of corvette is to trace unit wiring to car wiring and disconnect...then reconnect stock wiring... If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jonathan_4cd718ed254374ee
there is a vibration detector on this unit... you need to adjust the dial clockwise to make it more sensitive to vibration... but someone merely touching the car will most likely not set it off...
also the placement of the sensor is crucial in detecting minor bumps to the car... best place is directly on the steering column or on a weight bearing panel/rod... If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jonathan_4cd718ed254374ee
