5103L Security/Remote Start System Questions & Answers
What do I need to connect on the 5103L and what can I leave unconnected?
I would suggest you connect alarm , the door trigger ( usually green) - to the dome light wire that can be found inside the door. If there is no pin in the door it's inside the door panel by the latch and shows - when door or latch is open. It is also possible to connect to the dome wire in the ceiling but dome light delays will cause a problem or if there is no light. You need to connect the starter wire possibly blue red on this car, two ignition wires on the car colors possibly red and red yellow for the second ignition wire. Brake light wire possibly white black above switch pedal. Battery or constant possibly black yellow at ignition switch. Parking brake is usually required. On this car you will need to add a actuator in the driver side door to unlock and lock the car. Diagram is to use two relays, can be found on websites. Adding actuators to a door. You will need to disarm the alarm with the alarm disarm wire on the alarm the disarm wire on the car is possibly white green it is negative in the driver kick panel.

Neutral remote
Check under the dash on the car. All remote start systems have a shut off toggle switch to turn the system off. If you had your car in for service then they may have flipped the switch. It is either under the dash somewhere or sometimes it is put under the hood where it can be seen by the mechanic.

I am trying to remote start my car and it wont
The secondary chirp alerts you to an open trigger, probably the hood pin switch since the car is not remote starting. Check under the hood for a broken or bent out of place hood pin switch. Make the adjustment so the pin makes contact with the hood when the hood is closed.
