ive had my phone for about a week and everything has been working fine but now suddenly my phone cannot seem to find my micro SD memory card even though its inserted properly??

what a pissing joke, im having the same problem pack of lg ****. Sorry I have no solution havnt worked out how to fix it, its deleted all my music and im trying to put more on but nope it doesnt recognise the card.

Do I need to download google maps first
the gps on my renoir works fine with orange maps , couldnt get it to work for a while though but seemed to sort itself out, does take a fairly long time to get the positioning but once it found the satellites it worked no problem at all gave me directions to my house... havent used it since but it did take about maybe 15 minutes to find the signal u have to be patient

I cant seem to connect my phone to my home wifi connection. I typed in all the passwords etc but it just keeps on saying failed. Do i need to do something on my mac to allow this. if so, how?
I had this problem, My wirless router is using WEP Authentication with a "Shared Key". I had to change this to either Open or Automatic on the router.

My memory keeps saying that its full, i cant put a wallpaper on or send any pictures. See ive tried moving everything from my internal memory to external memory but yet when i delete all from my internal it still says that my memory is full and using all 169M when i have no pictures, no music or anything on my internal. When i go into memory manager and go into user memory to see what is actually being taken up and how much by, yet it says 88670 kb is being taken up in others and 5263 kb in java but yet nothing is in them. Also when i press clear to see if it will take it all away it says that 100% is cleared but yet when i turn the phone off and on again it all still there. Please can someone help me??????????
go into phone settings - memory manager - handset common memory and tap clear all. This worked for me i took my memory card out just to be on the safe side

how to use gps on lg kc910
hi, i dont think it has GPS as in Sat-nav kind of GPS. I think what it meant by GPS is that you can use sattelite signal for the jogging buddy application. However, if you want, you can download google maps which is pretty much the same, except you wont have the voiced directions.
You could also try typing "Java GPS applications" into google and download one of the softwares e.g Amazegps and see how it goes?

I purchased a brand new LG Renoir yesterday and had it connected to my pc lastnight. I uploaded 2 music files onto the phone (as i dont have an expandable memory card yet). It connected fine, i disconnected the phone properly. I just tried to connect the phone again and it says ''Fail to connect to the mobile handset, Please check the COM port and connect in idle screen. Due to the multifunction, despite idle screen, it can be failed to connect''
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
I get this all the time and it is really annoying.
What I do to solve it for me is to is to tern all my mobile application off and then reconnect the USB cable.
To close all open applications: press the white hard key (in the middle of the red and green), and you customisable menu appears. At the top of the screen is a grey tab with a dark grey triangle (like a play button), press this and you see all (if any phone application are open), press the end all button on the screen. Then to confirm action pres yes to stop all tasks.
Hope it solves you problem.

Instead of all the bars on the battery icon moving up and down, there is only one bar that flickers quite quickly. Even after having the phone plugged in and charged for quite some time, when I unplug it, it tells me its a low battery.
The phone is only like 2 months old.
The first one was sent back within a week cause it started spacking out and freezing, now this....
Surely it can't be the battery already? Please Help. Thank you.
Try putting the battery in a zip lock back and putting it in the freezer overnight

Type 1809#*500# & select reset option which restores the factory settings. it will ask you to confirm that press Confirm. it will take some time and your handset will be restored to original settings.
