It sounds like your fuser is causing the jame,.

when you remove the paper can you wipe the toner off the page or does it adhear to the paper ?

If it does not the fuser is causing the jam, if the toner does not wipe off the paper then the feed tires would be the cause of your jam

The fuser is at the back of the printer and will be very hot, so be careful.

Check the cable in the door. There is a cable that goes to the sensor in the door, it will come loose when the door is accidentally bumped loose and pulls the cable out of the socket. There are the two hinges on the ends, two guide posts, and a flat cover, the cable is under the cover.

I thought it is waste toner tank full.In this case opens the front cover where the black and color cartridges are located on the left side and is usually a white bottle is full transparent.Acesta probably be replaced by the residual toner an empty tank with new or old in care at a particular place (-toner powder is harmful for the body and environment)), then inserted in place

unplog the printer from electrik for 10 minutes and try aggain, if the problem still occure try to update the soft ware using the web side from samsung for this printer, this should solf the problem.

The cardriges are out of toner and need to be renewed or refilled. If you refill them by your self you need new chips for them as well.

For you to be able to adjust the color profile you need to use Adobe Photoshop and the icc profiles readily available. Your system has a current working ICC profile and it could be either Adobe RGB, SRGB, and if you are a specialist you can use Adobe RGB (1998). Here are some steps that you can apply to change the color profile.

1. First, make these changes in Photoshop.

2. Now, [Edit] then assign profile, ColourMatch RGB.

3. To print, go [File] [print] the printer profile should be Adobe RGB (1998).

I am not familiar with this particular printer ... it is wireless? Can you attach it to your network wired? My preference is always wire if possible. Faster and more secure.

I suggest you remove the printer from the computer and reinstall it.

SOLUTIONS:

1. Unplug the USB device. It is possible that the connection is not secure and has become loose. This is one of the most common reasons for an error in detecting a USB device.
2. Use the Device Manager to scan for new and recently installed hardware. From the start menu, select the 'Run' option. In the pop up box, type in Devmgmt.msc and then click 'Ok'. From the 'Action' Mmnu, click 'scan for hardware changes'. This will make Windows recognize any new devices that are installed. Now, close all device managers and control panels. Now see if your computer will read the USB device.

If the above two doesnt work, then try the following,

Disable power management of the USB hub. To disable the power management,

1.Click Start, and then click Run
2.Type devmgmt.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
3.Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers' node, and then follow these steps for each USB Root Hub that is listed:
4.Right-click the USB Root Hub and then click Properties.
5. Click the Power Management tab.
6. Click to clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box, and then click OK.

PS: If you perform the following procedure on a laptop computer, you may reduce the battery life.

Sounds like a little piece of paper is jammed on the rollers on top, or you have a bad sensor. Get in there and blow it out with compressed air or if it under warranty send it back.

Oh btw media jam (paper)and output tray(top part where paper comes out) is missing error (sensor is prob bad)

Really there are no 'photo papers' for color laser. As the toner 'sits' on the surface of the page it makes little difference what paper type you use. Ink on the other hand is absorbed into photo paper and the gloss finish gives it a nice look and feel.
You may get a perceived effect with different brightness of paper. I have found the the high bright copy paper is best.

The inkjet papers will not work as it has a coating for inks not toners. From experience and trying various glossy laser papers, I have found that different ones work differently with each laser and its only trial and error. When you print try and scratch the surface as we have found that on alot of the papers the toners scratch off pretty easily.

Brand new printer out of the box? I suggest better have it covered by the warranty, it's just brand new and opening it can make the warranty voided. But if this doesn't bothers you and you know how to deal with printers you can try these steps:

1. Print several OPC cleaning mode prints, and then run the self test.
2. Remove the toner and transfer roller. Clean off excess toner particles, paper, and dust, and then reinstall the roller.
3. Print another document.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, better have the printer replaced with another unit.

Many things can cause that, toner box full, fuser not heating, paper empty, toner empty, paper scraps inside, imaging belt used up, If the owners manual doesn't help you locate the problem you may need a shop. Samsung customer support can help too, you'll find their number on line.

The sensor is #0604-001393 and is available at www.precisionroller.com It involves taking the left side off and the top cover, the sensor is on the top left above the fuser.

HI there can you clean the printer head and then inside , make sure no dust in side. Then reset the printer and try . Please let me know the result.

There is photo-optic detector, clean two side emitor and receiver.

Firstly make these changes in Photoshop:
