Restore your phone to factory settings.

First try: 1. Shut phone down. 2. Remove Battery 3. Wait 15 minutes 4. Insert battery 5. Turn phone back on

You should actually use media card that goes in the memory slot on the side. You can go into your media center and then make sure the volume is working, Play the music in the music and ringtone sction. If that doesn't work for you. Take it to the nearest verizon corp store they can tell you if the speakers are blowm. You also can make sure that the speakers are cleam by using a toothbrush. they may just be debri inside your speakers. hi petroffsteve if yoou go into the usb connection mode and put it on the ask plug . the setting is in your tools and settings. if you have a mmeory card put that into your computer and copy the file on to the memory card. you v\can get the mudic that way. One of two things has happened, you are not using the charger that was supplied with the phone when new or the charger you are using, though it is the proper charger, has become faulty.

HI lilg97 you can clean the charging port out. If you have another micro charger you can use that one to see if the phone is taking the chaerge. It could be your charger . If it is your charger you will need to replace the charger. Also you can take it to the nearest verizon and they will check to see if you qualify for their lg replacement program. Hi this is a very common problem with all flip and slide phones and even laptops and notebooks, the problem is to do with the data ribbon that connects the screen to the circuit board in the bottom of the phone.
now inside this ribbon are several single strand copper wires and over time open and closing the phone causes these to break and you then lose the connection with the screen.

as this is such a common fault it makes the part itself cheap to buy and cheap to get fitted. it isnt something you can do your self as you need specialist tools to take the phone apart and to fit the data ribbon.

if you want it repaired the cheapest place would be one of those small independent phone shops as the bigger one will have to send it off and you will be charged extra for this, the smaller phone shop should be able to fix it whilst you wait or the next day at the latest.

its up to you if you think the phone is worth getting fixed then it wont cost much to get done.

hi jvela 18 I want you to take the battery out of the phone. Look to make sure that the contacts are clean and their is no liquid on the contacts. If the phone still doesn't turn on plug it in.
