An H2O error indicates an issue with water.1st make sure the inlet water is turned on and none of the hoses are kinked or crimped preventing full water flow.Another problem could be the vacuum line has dislodged from the switch. You'll need to remove the cover and behind the soap drawer is the snmall round switch Make sure the clear vinyl hose is attached securely.Another issue could be a clogged filter is the unit is filled and not draining. The filter is behind the fron kick plate. Be sue to drain the tub as much as you can as removing the filter with a full tub will ersult in a big clean up
Hi.The door latch is probably broken. Emergency opening can be done accessing the door latch from the inside of the washer assembly. Before attempting an emergency opening, disconnect power cord and empty water inside the machine through the filter located at the bottom front side of the machine. After removing water connect back the machine and try opening again. If that does not work, then the machine must be disassembled. Most models have an emergency cable located on the inside of the door latch. Pulling the cable will release the latch. The inside of the door latch is reached either from filter housing or from top of the machine. Either the filter (usually held by screws) or the top panel must be removed to access the inside of the lock mechanism.Power must be kept off while doing maintenance. Due to the safety issues involved the door latch emergency opening and repair must be done by a trained technician.Regards.Ginko
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Indesit (Hotpoint, Ariston) 'H20' states 'no fill' (but maybe difficulty).
If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C
There is a filter at the rear of the washer.
Remove lower rear panel.
Remove large black hose from bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter in inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump and check for blockage oe obstruction here as well.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.
Try the plug in another socket that you know is o/k, if still no go ,then you need to remove top cover and rear panel, and check all connectins to control module/s.
Make sure the door is fully catch is fully engaged, as sometimes the spring can give out in the door handle.
You can ususally take your Hotpoint washing machine out of DEMO MODE by holding down both the ON/OFF button and the START/RESET button at the same time for about 3 seconds. The display should then indicate D OFF.If this procedure does not work for your particular machine, then please just comment back and be sure to include the exact model number of your washer next time so we can provide the appropriate procedure for your appliance. Good luck.
The first thing to always try is disconnecting it from the mains plug overnight. Then in the morning press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. Then plug it back in. The is a Power Reset on a machine that has an electronic mainboard.
Does water enter the machine? My guess is that the water inlet valve may have failed. It waits, no water comes, so it times out. There are a few things to check there, make sure there is water in the pipe, make sure the strainer screens are clear in the hose connecter on the back of the machine.
No model details given but there is help in the link.
