This is a known problem with the motor, not the solenoid!!! You may have to replace the motor. A way to check is when it stops, unplug the power cord and touch the motor side frame. If the motor is hot that's your problem. Be sure to unplug the power plug to the motor and look inside the connector for a burnt spot. You might just need to replace the connector. 1) Unplug machine. 2) Use a putty knife or flat blade screwdriver and compress the clips located about 4" in on the front of your machine (there is one on each side) lift the top of your machine up. 3)Use flat blade screwdriver or 5/16" nut driver and remove the 2 screws holding the front panel on. Wearing gloves because there may be sharp edges and using care lifting, sit the panel aside.

Thanks for the quick responses.Pulled front cover,ran a load on high level, no leaks .Ran a load on super level and when drum spins when full of water water level rose and poured out of left front side on top of drum. Pulled plastic ring on top of drum and and found piece of seal missing where leak occured .Ordered upper tub seal, should solve problem

The legs underneath the machine become stuck from rust and corrosion. I had the same problem and all the repairman did was hit the legs with a screwdriver and it unfroze the legs and fixed the problem!!

On the transmission there are two shift arms. One shift arm controls the agitator and the other shifts to spin the cloths. If the washer has been making a "clicking" sound when it trys to spin, the solenoid that shifts the spin shift arm is not catching and the drum will not spin. The other possibility is the spin clutch is slipping and make a "grinding/ratcheting" sound. Neither, unfortunately are inexpensive to fix.
If you can describe the sound and when it occurs, I might be able to get closer.

You may have some bad bearing in the shaft assembly. i would take a look at this. also, if its not a direct drive, you may have a bad belt as well.

The label should be at the back where the power goes in. The label is supposed to be not able to be removed (strong adhesive or metal and riveted. Could be as the spin starts it overloads the fuse ..... not sure without more information though.
