Go to 'Start > Settings > Connections tab > Wi-Fi > Network Adapters tab', and make sure the 'My network card connects to:' dropdown menu is set to 'The Internet'.

If you are with Vodacom, just dial *111# , select “Device Setup” and follow the instructions.

1. Try leaving out DNS addresses first. DNS servers are usually assigned automatically to your device on connect.
2. If you are using Vodacom and GPRS does not want to work, first call customer support and make sure your sim is activated for the “internet” APN.

If it a trial virus then you cant renew. You have to buy it. You cant fool them as they have your mobile number. Even if you re-install the firmware, you get caught with your phone number. Or you buy it.

If your phone is working then do not think of using the pass code and join the 30% crowd on this site. While if it is already set and forgotten then re-installing of the firmware is the only answer.

To do so you need to contact the service provider associated with your phone for the appropriate code. And if you owe money on your account you can go out and pound salt.

if u have an iphone just go to settings thin general you should see pass lock click on that and you should be able change it there.
