HP LaserJet P2055d Printer Questions & Answers
Why isn't anything appearing in the control panel display of my HP Laserjet p2055dn?
try giving ping command to the ip of the printer
if you get a reply from the printer in the command prompt then the printer is properly connected to the network. for a precaution try to switch off the printer and if then too you get a reply there is conflict with the same ip.
if you get a proper reply from the ip try installing the driver once again
Where is output sensor

you can verify that it has a black wing
Bad flash burn power cycle
sounds like a short across the mains input on the power supply/ or triacs shorted out on fuser driver pwb,
before replacing the power supply (needed) you may also want to replace the fuser unit assembly as a whole as the problem may well have originated from here. ( I would suggest at this point if your toner supply is low for this machine -that it is just as cheap to replace the machine as it is to replace the power supply fuser and toner
Supply memory error
Remove cartridge, observe a small chip mounted on cartridge shell..This chip calculates the approximate toner levels, once its reached "Zero" printer says cartridge empty/low replace it.. If the memory is not detected due to any reason printer will say supply error or 10:xx supply error.. Replace this memory if available( locally its available ) or replace the cartridge.. Very few cases same error appears with faulty DC controller..Ex supply memory:

Try using another cable and USB port on the computer.
Paper jam cartridge area
If it's a new printer, you may be using incompatible media. If the paper stops so that part of it is past the toner drum and part of it is before the toner drum, then the feed-roller assembly is not feeding properly. If the paper stops at the fuser, then the fuser rollers are not picking up the paper the way they should.
If there is toner on the paper, or part of it, but it just stops before it reaches the output tray, the output rollers are probably worn. If the printer sat unused for a long time, the rollers can dry out and not grip the paper correctly.
If the paper doesn't make it into the printer at all, the feed roller and separations pad are bad. I hope this helps.
