I don't know how far you have gone to find if the printer is installed in win7 but I have the same printer and it runs on win7 no problems. Make sure you can find the printer in the add devices program if it is there then win7 has found it. what does win7 ask when after reboot is it asking for the printer driver if so you will need to get one. If not you need to check device manager an make sure it is there form there you will need to find driver udate or rollback to the last install.cya. roger.

This printer have a sensor to remind the user when using a wrong paper size.

If you still using a paper that not the same with your software settings, it's still reminds you.

I solve this promblem by after print my works I just press "Cancel Jobs" button to clear a data.

If you have not yet solved this issue , advise if you are on a paralell cable or usb cable connection? If it is a paralell connection pull the cable out and check for a bent pin, if affirmative straighten it out with small thin head pliers. If usb check that the correct driver has been loaded on the virtual usb port. Good Luck Ed Pinero
